This is great and should have been included with either the tractor or the cart that it connects to. The original pin is easily lost (mine was), and this has a really strong magnet that keeps it in the hitch even when not being used.

The hitch pin is much easier to work with than the pin that uses a cotter type pin to hold it in place. Also, the magnet is plenty strong to hold it in place.

Fantastic for us older guys

I know it's made by John Deer, but I thought it was universal.. it's not long enough to go thru both holes on a Craftman riding lawn mower.. the magnet is strong and is still usable for the most part on my riding lawn mower..

Seems to hold good. Very easy to hook up implements now. Just dipped in green rubber. Nothing John Deere at all.
