It has a good variety of speeds and cleaning the beaters is easy enough in the dishwasher or by hand. It is comparative in most ways to most other hand mixers on the market. I do wish it hand a holder for the beats and a way to tuck the cord for storage purposes.

I was worried about it not being strong enough because of how quiet it is, but quickly realized it’s more powerful than my old mixer! It got brownies mixed in no time at all. I was surprised how well it preformed - and with no back splash! I didn’t have to whips it down after using it. I just popped the whisks in the washing machine no problem.

I prefer a handheld mixer to a stand mixer because it takes up considerably less space. I’ve tried my share of hand mixers and the Kitchen Aid is definitely a winner in my book. I use the handheld mixer in conjunction with my stainless steel mixing bowl. It’s versatile and can perform several functions. I love using it to mix my chocolate chip cookie dough, make whipped cream, mix crepe batter, beat eggs and so much more! It mixes so smoothly, even on high speed! It’s also very quiet! There are 5 speed settings which is useful when you need a more precise speed than low, medium, high. There are models with 9 speed but for me, 5 speed is completely sufficient. The eject button is handy to remove the mixing attachments easily. Just push the button and the mixing attachments come out. The mixer is so easy to clean! Most of the time, I use a damp paper towel and wipe the body of the mixer. The mixing attachments can be washed in soap and water. I love that the mixer can stand upright on its own rather than having to lay it down on the counter when you need to pause. There are also other attachments you can purchase that are compatible with this mixer. This is a nice feature because it increases the versatility. However, I wish that it came with those attachments. The mixer feels sturdy and is well made. It feels durable. I opted for the red mixer and it is absolutely beautiful on my counter! The color is not a loud red. It’s a muted, sophisticated red color. Just absolutely beautiful!

I really enjoy how compact this is, and how easy the whisk pop off for cleaning. My favorite feature is the cord lock to either aide. My biggest pet peeve is the cord flopping around when I'm baking something. I would Definitely buy this if mine ever broke or someone wanted one for a gift.

I wish I could bump the speed up a little higher though. It feels like it should have the option to increase 2x higher. And I wish I could store the beaters either the mixer base. There's no way to attach them so I have to store them with my cooking utensils. This is a must have if you bake or even great for mashed potatoes!
