We returned the product. The picture shows that it doesn't close flush, but they should also state that in the description., because you don't really know that for sure. It looked too big for the opening and the folds were not evenly spaced over the 32". The other issue is that this door cannot be trimmed at all. So, if your floor isn't completed even across the bottom and at least 80" everywhere this door won't work. The quality was good, but you really lost the beauty of the see through panels because of the folds. We were very disappointed as the picture depicts that the windows look pretty flush, but they are not, so you loose the beauty of it.

This is an excellent product. Very easy to install after receiving the correct installation instructions. The installation manual received with the door was for an older model, and impossible to use. I contacted the manufacturer by phone, and they sent the correct manual by internet. They apologized for the error and advised that they would correct this problem.

This adds so much class and elegance to a tight space. Worth every penny. A little tricky to install, especially the lock mechanism. Take your time and mark the hook carefully. I had to redo that part a few times.

The directions are absolutely horrible. There are no words, just tiny pictures that are supposed to show you how to install this. We have an odd size door opening of just 75 inches tall. This door can ONLY be trimmed about 3 inches on the bottom and then put back together with the screws and little plates. However, if you trim more than 3 inches off the bottom, you'll have nothing left to screw the plates back into! These little plates keep the individual door panels from sliding down to the floor. People complained that when closed the door isn't flat... it's still in it's partially folded state. You can easily remove as many individual panels as you need to make the door less wide. Just remove the bottom hardware for the panel you want to remove and slide it out. You can also reconfigure the rollers on the top if you need to. I found out the hard way that if you have more than 3" to trim, don't trim it all from the bottom. You must trim 1/2 from the top of the door and 1/2 from the bottom or you'll ruin your door.

The quality & beauty of this accordion door is spectacular! The little windows are clear & not distorted. ..so many compliments. ..if I find another place for same kind of door definitely will be buying this one again!

This door is beautiful! It was pretty easy to install.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. Use it to keep my dog off the carpet, and having the windows can still see the grandchildren playing in the other room. Very sturdy and attractive. Would recommend.

Beautiful door! Not as sturdy as I would have liked but it works for what I need. It was time consuming to install but looks great. Wish the locking mechanism was better. Rated the door a 3 because I wish it was a bit more sturdy. Would buy again.

We needed this accordion door to close off a hallway to better circulate air from a wood stove. This door was replacing a piece of vinyl, so the bar was not set too high for success. I cut the bottom of the door to fit on a radial arm saw. The directions suggest a hack saw. I'm not sure that would work too well. Also, following the directions, the door was too tight a fit, and I had to uninstall it and trim it a second time. If it had been over carpet, the size might have worked, but over tile, it did not fit. I trimmed an extra 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch to get it to the right size. The door is entirely synthetic. No wood or glass. It looks fine in our 60s colonial, but it is not fine woodwork. Some parts of the pictorial directions were completed at the factory, but I was able to figure out the installation along the way. I am pretty handy and have a good supply of tools. Overall, I am satisfied but not overly impressed with this product. It was good enough.

Great door, love the window feature, would recommend this door to anyone maybe with a room addition and you may want semi-privacy, easy to install

We bought this item for its appearance and we're not disappointed as it was stunning. However the directions were poor just a page of pictures that was hard to figure out. Some parts such as the handle/latch were already installed and added to the confusion. Note that some of the small parts were missing the required numbers of screws and snap on connectors which were shipped out when I contacted the manufacturer. The latch never worked even though I uninstalled it to attemp to make it turn. However I would have lived with the latch not working as it was not a requirement for me to have it latch. The deal killer was once I got it installed, the 4 plastic rollers on the top of the door all snapped off. This left the middle panels to slide down and stop the door from folding or unfolding. I called the manufacturer to see if they could provide replacement for the rollers and was informed that I would have to replace the entire door. Based on the problems I had already that didn't seemed to be worth the effort, so I returned the door to my local Home Depot for a refund. I purchased the much cheaper doors that HD had in stock and had 2 of them each installed within an hour. Bottom line is this door is much too heavy for the plastic rollers and that needs a redesign.

Excellent product. Was totally surprised on the functionality and appearance. Took a little while to prep the place for the install and was pretty straight forward after that. Instructions are all in pictures, no words to follow. The only issue was due to factory blunder on installing the latch in the wrong place. Just drilled in the correct spot and moved the latch.

We were very impressed with this door. It was easy to install using the on line video. The door is well constructed and most of the additional parts were already installed on the door. The locking device is not that great but we did not buy it to lock. The closing latch is better than our previous door which was only magnets.

Great product for anyone looking for an accordion door. Appearance is great plus comes with door knob and lock capability which is different than most other accordion doors. Just a few things to note about this product: 1. If you are going to install yourself, don't get lost in the installation instructions. It is very confusing and only consists of pictures. I suggest watching the video on youtube and just figuring it out on your own (not too difficult once you get the idea). 2. Door says 32". Panels will not close completely flat at 32" but does not look bad like that. I did not measure the exact width but i would say you can fit it on an opening to about 34". Definitely suggest this product to anyone looking for a quick and great looking door.

The only reason I dont give 5 stars is due to the latch mechanism. Its is a poor design and does not latch properly. someone suggested using magnets on another post, I like that Idea and will look into buying a couple magnets. Otherwise the door is nice quality and sharp looking. Install takes 2-3 hours, and directions could be a bit easier but with some time, are are able to figure out.

Excellent looking product. I used it to close off the stairway to the bonus room where there is no room for a regular door because of the garage door in the way. Lining it up was a little time consuming. recommend another set of hands for that. Directions are horrible. No verbal explanation, just pictures. Remember to put the solid/non-moving side on before you attach it to the wall. Had to use magnets to make sure it closes tight, but no biggie. My doorway was 33" and it fit without closing completely flat, But i like that look.

The directions are sketchy at best but with a little common sense and ability it is pretty simple to figure out and install.

We needed to replace the door in the laundry room after buying large front loaders. Decided on an accordion door. So glad we did. Gave the room a different look - classy style and personality. :)

The only problem are the directions....there is no explanation, only pictures..very hard for one to figure out but we love love love the door !

We bought this door for our kitchen. It functions fairly well for what we need it to do, but the overall quality is a little cheap. After I threw the directions away, it was easy to install. The directions are a step by step enigma of pictures I spent about two hours trying to decipher. I would not recommend this door. Overall quality not worth the price.

I bought this door for my kitchen/pantry and i absolutely love it. Easy to install, excellent quality, and good price. Plus it has a sturdy door knob and lock.

The instructions provided were a series of drawings that were not easy to interpret. I hired a contractor to install the door and it took both of us a whole day to accomplish. When it was delivered most of the parts were not included. I called the manufacturer and their customer service person was excellent and shipped them to me immediately. It also seems that part of the door I received was pre-assembled rendering some of the instructions moot. The doorway it went into, like most things in my old house, was not straight or even, which required the contractor to do some creative framing so the door would hang correctly. Trimming of the bottom for custom fit was also not the easiest to do. It looks OK and I think it will serve its purpose now that it is up, but I question how durable and long-lasting it will be.
