Only works when you close to it not what i thought

I am taking mine back unopened. 100' tracing is stupid. I feel like I got ripped off. This product will come and go. Don't buy it.

It's marketed as a tool tracker, but in reality it is almost useless. You have to be within 100 feet of it to track it.

For some reason it did not work, that thick did not have accuracy.It could not track my tool.

Worthless junk!! Problem getting it set up, then it wouldn't register on map. Found out it doesn't track more than couple hundred feet. Glad I keep the receipt and didn't buy more of them!!!

Yes, great tool protection.

Only works within 100ft of bluetooth phone that is running the APP. Then only locates to local street address. So... i know my tracker is in my house..... somewhere. If tracker were stolen... what are the odds that someone running the app would be within 100ft.

I think this would be so much better if it connected to a wi-fi network such as optimun hotspot or frontier. That way if it goes missing is way easier to find that you having to be 100’ away from it with your phone.

The best if u sleep on Milwaukee.They dumb. It the next best thing.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS. it does not "track" anything over 100ft. so if ur home and dont know what job site u left your tool at forget it . unless ur on the same property nothing will show on the app. i dont know why this is even a thing. its useless. it only works if ur in the same house as the item u want to track but even then does not give a detailed location of the item incase ur working on multi level floors. its garbage

This is an excellent item if someone borrows something or you’re prone to misplacing items or you have a construction/landscape company. The Tick is small enough to not be in the way nomatter what you are tracking. The app itself is almost more impressive than the tracker. You can log each tick to individual tools and log the model and serial number. You can also assign them to a specific location/person/division. Track service dates and schedule repeats if its a larger piece of equipment that requires maintenance or simply log a one-time repair on something smaller. Each tick allows you to monitor its battery life (cell battery) and you can record pictures of your purchase indormation for the tool or Tick. You can add guest access so a trustedassociate can change the designated location/job/etc. Because it is a bluetooth device, other phones can find it if they have the app which is helpful if you lose it, but you can turn it off so that strangers cant see what you have tracked

Only works if others are using same system to help track items last location. If not many people are using the system in my area it would seem impossible to track.

I installed this product on an excavator on January 25, 2018, and it's location has not updated as of April 19, 2018--that's nearly 4 months. All this despite having the app running on my phone. If you buy this, don't expect to be able to see real-time location data. I wouldn't buy it again nor recommend it.

Great idea, but poor execution. Cons: -Takes too long to detect device(4min+). -Limited range (bluetooth: 100 feet) -No web interface (phone app only). Very unfortunate. Turns out to be very expensive toy with very limited usefulness. I was hoping for more for this price.

Does not actually track anything.

Waste of money. Doesn't even get you close to item it's attached to. No idea how the Nearby Devices feature works because it doesn't detect the tick 1 ft away. Locations never change even when wrong. Sent an email to Milwaukee for clarification with no response.

Waste of money im going to returnit

if anyone steals my tools - I doubt they will stay within 100 feet of me.. this item only works in close range

This product only helps someone who is too dumb to keep track of their belongings. It will help you find your items within 100 feet radius as long as there is Wifi available. It is NOT a locator by GPS at all.

good idea. bad design. if you put the tick directly on the tool, it won't fit in its carrying case.

I love this tool

The app is complete garbage and barely usable. The tick itself is very well built but it is useless without the app.

It told me where it was last seen but not where it's at now unless the phone is next to it

Not accurate

Total disappointment-worthless. Too involved re setup to return. Don't buy!

Fits very well on some tools. Hard to apply to others, especially those with curved surfaces.
