It is important that the pH of your pool be adjusted to the 7.5 to 8.0 range for best results with this product. After allowing the product to circulate throughout your water for at least two hours, the pump and filter should be turned off, allowing the pool water and debris to settle. After 24 to 48 hours, vacuum the material that has settled at the bottom of the pool to waste. This product should only be used in pools that can be vacuumed to waste. Flocculants are used to settle debris to the bottom of the pool, allowing it to be vacuumed to waste. Given what you have described, it may be beneficial to use a clarifier, such as our Super Water Clarifier or MAXBlue Clarifier, which bind smaller particles into larger masses so that they can be more easily cleared by your filtration system. This product is recommended for removal of large amounts of debris, clearing murky, hazy water and for removal of dead algae following treatment. Sink to Clear Flocculant collects suspended particles and quickly drops them to the bottom of the pool. pH is very important when using the product, and should be adjusted to 7.5 to 8.0 for best results.
