Great for killing plants like Poison Ivy and Virginia Creeper that cause severe rashes. Most effective when used on hot sunny days. In 2 or 3 days these plants will wither away and die.

Works fast, works really good, and it is half the price of the other brands. Maybe because it has a cheaper spray pump, but who cares, it will not be reused at this price.

    Works well
The product works as described. I like the spray nozzle as it is easy to pull trigger without getting a hand cramp. It also sprays precisely, allowing you to spray on weeds that are next to plants you don't want harmed. Since it is absorbed through the leaves as opposed to soaking into the ground and roots, you can use in flower beds and along hedges. It does take a day to start seeing the weeds wilting and another day or two for them to turn brown and appear to be dead, but it does work well. I didn't have to soak the weeds either, just one shot on them did the trick. I think for the price this is a good value and will buy again when needed.

Works slowlyTook a few days to work. It seemed to kill most weeds but grass grew right back.
This product doesn't work as fast as others. the sprayer is weak and hard to get primed. It did kill most of the weeds I sprayed, however, the grass all grew back. Wasted a lot of my time.

Spectracide is a desiccant that kills grass and most weeds. It is not a total herbicide. It does not kill some plants that come from bulbs. It is rainproof after 15 mins and takes about a day to show browning. Much safer to use than Roundup. I have used it for 15 years.

      Looking for a better product
The active ingredients were changed within the past 1-2 years. With this new formula, some weeds require a second treatment. It seems like the weeds return faster than with the old formula.

This is an excellent product. It’s not too large too much and it’s concentrated. I have a 2 gallon compression sprayer that it’s easy to do the calculation or how much to mix with the water and it’s great for doing spot weed cleanup around your property.

No visible results after 3 days, much less the 3 hours it claims. They keep diluting the formula as this used to be great years ago. Doubling up the ratio to get rid of it, but a waste of $18.00.
