It worked out ok. I just find it frustrating that this kit doesn’t automatically come with the door. It just makes sense if you’re installing a door you want it completely functional. Just another way to top off the consumer

Good product, it does require some cutting of the sill

A nice finish for my security door. Installation went smoothly.

Only used about half the kit. Instructions not exactly clear and YouTube made it worse. I guess I didn't need to fabricate the parts I did use.

The product should provide extra screws.

The directions are bit out of order. Following their vague instructions, ended up ripping the bottom bug sweep. The best order should be to install the top piece first, then the new threshold, then the bug sweep, and last the bottom piece. This will give you the proper clearance to install each piece as you do have to drill holes in the door to install each piece. Overall I do like the fitment and exact color match, but makes no difference to me as I am painting it to go with my house colors.

I could not use this item once my screen was installed and I realized I needed it. Buy this and have it on hand in case you need it while installing your security screen

As I explained to the employees in the door departure the kit was horrible. I took pictures of it before I returned it for credit. Showed the photos to them how the paint on the items was very blotchy and the parts didn't line up with the security screws.

Save your money and come up with another option. Welds on bottom of frame are flimsy and will break.

Be sure you scope the job out before using first part, some didn’t work for our opening so paid for items in the kit we didn’t use.

So easy to install. I love it. Now I can finally enjoy having my door open in the evenings for some cool air.

We’ll put together kit to reduce/eliminate the gaps. I had to get tougher 1/8” drill bits to enable drilling into door frame. Instructions were helpful. Why not integrate this kit with the door and include it?

I ordered this seal kit on line that is supposed to fit my security door insect control 30 - 36 inches. When one of the contractors from Home Depot installed it , the bottom rubber was short around 34-35 so it didn’t fit and insects can come through the house door. I was advised by the contractor to ask for another kit since he already installed it expect the bottom part. its a defect and it’s expensive too. I hope Home Depot Managment will take care of this issue and call me back or email with a convenient solution.

I Love it other than the color is no where near copper as it appears. I would say it’s actually brown.

Easy installation while installing door

Installation was done by a professional. Made the new security screen door look perfect. I especially like the rubber part for secure footing.

The color matched the door exactly.

This is a poorly design product and is very expensive for what it provides. Instructions are difficult to understand and has poor function unless modfied with caulking and cutting of product
