Dear Home Depot Customer Service Team, My name is William and I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a recent carpet installation service I purchased through Home Depot. After my initial appointment was rescheduled at your request due to inclement weather, I worked with one of your representatives to confirm a second installation date. I spoke with the same individual multiple times to ensure the date was locked in. To accommodate this schedule, I had to make significant adjustments to my work week where I am currently working the midnight shift. In preparation for the first installation, I spent a considerable amount of time moving furniture and disassembling a bed. After hearing nothing, I called your office twice and left messages with no response. When I finally reached someone at 3:00 PM today, I was informed by the very same person who scheduled the appointment that I was not on the schedule and never have been on the schedule. Then I was told that the installer was involved in a wreck the week prior as though that was the reason for the failure on his part. This lack of communication and failure to honor a confirmed appointment has caused me significant inconvenience, particularly given my complicated work schedule and the labor involved in preparing my home. I would like to have this issue addressed immediately.
