The wrong shutter was sent the first time so another one had to be ordered and installed. So the project took longer than I had hoped, but the installer handled everything perfectly. He did an absolutely fabulous job. He knew immediately when he came to the house the shutter was wrong. He told us he would re-order one and he did and when it came, we were called for an appointment And he came very promptly so really I have no complaints at all.

Overall, the experience was great. Our salesman, Greg, was incredibly responsive, answered all of our questions and left us feeling confident. Aaron, the installer, was also great at answering questions and he and his crew did a great job cleaning up. We are disappointed in the communication in the days leading up to the appointment, and the morning of. The communication we received is that we would get a call the morning of about when the installer would arrive. We did not receive a call. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress because they arrived just 10min before the end of the 2 hour window. We tried calling the scheduler and our installation contact to make sure they were coming and we did not receive any call backs which was very disappointing. The other issues that popped up are scratches on our kitchen floor and out side sidewalk. One of the windows was also installed crooked. They fixed it, but only after we pointed it out.

I had a negative experience with the seller and window installers who came to my house. They assured me that their Andersen windows were of the highest quality and that the installers were Home Depot employees, not contractors. However, the product specifications we discussed were not followed during the installation. I had requested oak wood trims to be installed, but the installers were ready to install pine wood trim. They also seemed rushed and did not inform me about the rotten wood from the previous windows. When I complained to the installations department, they ignored me. I am not satisfied with the poor quality of the product and the installation process.

The patio door install will be complete as soon as the kick-board under the door is installed. Installer didn't have that on his install work order, but the follow-up was promptly scheduled for the next week. I had planned on completing the inside finishing trim work myself and communicating with the installer as to why and what I needed from him went very smoothly.
