Installers showed up when they said they would, removed the old counter tops and beautifully installed the new counter tops. They totally cleaned up after themselves and left no mess at all. Love it!

    Countertop Materials

Enjoy an updated countertop in a variety of colors and patterns to perfectly match your space. Granite has grown both in popularity and variety, from neutral tones to vibrant colors. Quartz is timeless and stain-resistant. Solid surface countertops are an affordable option, and laminate is sure to update your space. Whether you are looking for man-made durability or natural stone, we have just what you want. Once you find your dream countertop, The Home Depot can help you iron out the final details, such as custom edges and countertop thickness.

    Countertop Material Comparison

    Granite vs. Quartz

Granite countertops are made from a natural stone with unique patterns and a wealth of color options, making them one-of-a-kind. They require periodic sealing to maintain their lustrous appearance and resist staining. Conversely, quartz offers a more uniform look and is engineered for increased durability. This requires minimal upkeep, making it a great choice for all kitchens.

    Solid Surface vs. Laminate

Solid surface countertops are made from synthetic resin, making them easy to repair if scratched. They come in numerous colors and patterns, some closely resembling genuine stone, and they are budget-friendly. Laminate countertops use layers of plastic bonded to a particle board core. Laminate options are recognized for their cost-effectiveness, availability in numerous designs, and relative ease of upkeep. However, they may not be as durable as other material options.
