Getting the quote was an easy process. The blinds are of great quality. The issue was with getting the appointments for measuring the windows and having the blinds installed. Both the measurement and installation appointments were very difficult to complete. On the day of the first measurement appointment, the person showed up outside of our agreed-upon window of time. The next rescheduled appointment had to be cancelled. The installation appointments were cancelled twice, after being told day-of that he could still make it. The first installation appointment was for 9am - 1pm. He called and asked me to extend the day until 4pm, which I did. At 3:30pm he called to tell me he wouldn't make it. On the day of the second installation appointment I could not get ahold of him. The concierge that I called got in touch with him, and he confirmed he was coming by 1pm. At 1pm I called and he told me he wasn't coming. When I asked about the difficulty of installing the blinds and my warranty, he said I could install them myself if I wanted. It took many phone calls and repeatedly asking for a refund to get him to come back the following week. The work has been completed, and the blinds look great. I was quoted for a larger order of blinds in a second room, which I would love to move forward with. But I can't do that if this is the only person you have available in this region to do the measurements and installation. I got the quote in August 2025, and the work wasn't completed until March of 2026. This is just an unacceptable amount of time to pass for the installation of three small blinds. The concierge I spoke to said that she would be in touch with me regarding a partial refund because of this. I will follow up with her to pursue it.

The process was seamless. The contractor who installed the shutters inside the house was professional along with friendly. It did not take him long at all! Would I do it again! Of course!!!

Overall I am exceptionally pleased with my shutters. However, my attempts to contact my salesperson was very disappointing. I attempted to contact her several times. Eventually I called Rockwood and they provided me with a date.

Overall good experience. It did take a couple weeks longer than what I would have expected for two pretty standard sized windows. The windows look great and can tell a difference in temperature in our basement.
