They guys came in and did a great job removing our old counters & sinks and installing the new counter tops. We had the plummer in the same day and installed our new vessel sinks we purchased. Home Depot would not install the vessel sinks. Anyway all of it is beautiful and we're very statisfied with our new quartz countertops.

Installation time can vary depending on the type of countertop you choose and the size of your kitchen. On average, countertop installation takes one to three days.

    Countertop Materials

Enjoy a stunning new countertop in a lovely assortment of colors and patterns to perfectly match your space. Granite has grown both in popularity and variety, from neutral tones to vibrant colors. Quartz is timeless and stain-resistant. Solid surface countertops are an affordable option, and laminate is sure to update your space. Whether you're looking for natural stone or man-made durability, we've got just what you want. Once you find your ideal countertop, The Home Depot can help you iron out the final details, such as corner treatments and custom edges.

    Countertop Material Comparison

    Granite vs. Quartz

Granite is a natural stone with unique patterns and a wealth of color options, making each slab one-of-a-kind. It requires periodic sealing to maintain its lustrous appearance and resist staining. Conversely, quartz offers a more uniform look and is crafted to withstand daily wear and tear. This requires minimal upkeep, making it a practical choice for busy kitchens.

    Solid Surface vs. Laminate

Solid surface countertops are made from acrylic resin, making them repairable in the event of an accident. They come in many colors and patterns, some closely resembling natural stone, and they are budget-friendly. Laminate countertops are constructed from layers of plastic bonded to a particle board core. Laminate options are recognized for their cost-effectiveness, availability in numerous designs, and relative ease of maintenance. However, they may not have the same longevity and heat resistance as other materials.
