    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I walk on my new carpet after replacement is complete?
You may walk on your new carpet as soon as it's installed. We usually recommend this, because it helps to press the carpet and adhesive onto your floor. We can also help you put your furniture back in place.
Does The Home Depot offer carpet samples?
We offer a complimentary selection of carpet samples according to your preferences when you book an in-home measure online. Samples can be delivered directly to your house!
Does your Wells, Vermont carpet company repair carpet?
Our Wells carpet company can replace your old carpet with a high-quality, popular brand offered in an array of colors to match your decor. We don't repair damaged carpet.
What happens during an in-home carpet measure?
Before ordering product, it's vital to have an accurate measurement of the rooms in your house to avoid buying too much or too little. A professional measure tech will arrive at your house during the scheduled time to record the dimensions of the area where new carpet will be installed. You will then receive an estimate for your project.
Which carpet is best for my home?
Our Wells professionals will help you choose the best option for your space. Texture or twist carpet works great in every room, including bedrooms, family rooms, dens, basements, hallways, stairs, and offices. Patterned carpet is commonly installed in bedrooms, family rooms, dens, hallways, stairways, and offices, but not in basements. Loop or berber carpet works well in basements, hallways, and on stairs. This carpet is not ideal if you have pets, as their claws can snag the carpet loops.
