I am very impressed with HD! From the sales person Alex to the installers Jerry and Christopher to the follow up team of Joe and Sabrina, I couldn?t be happier with my decision to hire HD! I received other quotes and HD was not the cheapest but I felt the value would be there given Alex?s approach which was not high pressure sales. He was a professional consultant and the main reason I choose HD. Then the installers were amazing! I?ve done a lot of house projects in the last 45 years and this window/door install was one of my top great experiences. Thank you to the HD team for doing outstanding work!

The installation folks subcontracted by The Home Depot were fantastic ? professional, friendly and efficient. Having said that, I do have two qualms with The Home Depot related to the project ? I was promised zero % interest for 24 months; this was not reflected on my credit card statement. I had to spend several minutes on the phone with customer service to get this corrected, it was terribly inconvenient. Second, disclosure of whether the 11% rebate applies to the purchased product portion of the project would have saved me a headache. I assume labor is not subject to the discount but if the product(s) purchased in connection with the project do not qualify for the rebate, please disclose that at the time of purchase as I had to spend another 20 minutes on the phone in order to confirm this.

When a manufacturer changes the way they do their blind product, the customer should be notified, not have the installer come in put in the blinds and then talk the customer this is the way they come, and there is nothing he can do. Been dealing with this for over a month with custom decorator with no resolve. Very dissatisfied.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can replacing my windows lower my heating and cooling costs?
Upgrading your windows will lower heating and cooling costs. We can help you maximize energy savings with modern, high-quality window options, including triple-pane glass with gas insulation, low-E4, and dual-pane glass.
What is the difference between aluminum, vinyl, and wood windows?
Aluminum window frames combine contemporary style with the ability to handle extreme temperatures. Vinyl window frames typically contain PVC, and combine ultraviolet protection against the sun, water resistance, and easy maintenance. Wooden window frames will not stick due to expansion and contraction. However, wood is susceptible to rot and weathering, making it harder to maintain.

During your free window replacement in-home consultation, a window installation specialist from The Home Depot will gather professional measurements, show you window samples, and quote your individual project. We'll be able to calculate your potential energy savings and the increased home value you can expect from your window installation project. The specialist will also help you envision different options in your home with our innovative 3D digital design tool.
How can I prepare for an in-home consultation for window replacement?
