This is one of my favorite stores, I have the pro account, the app and I've spent over 5k so this would be great if I was selected

I miss the time when there were a greater number of assistants and the availability of those that were knowledgeable in the area of the projects I was attempting to complete.

Avoid this detroit Home Depot. Employees are very rude and not helpful at all. Especially the return desk employee. Don’t keep common items stocked. Long checkout lines. No pro desk checkout.

I just bought a kitchen faucet for a neighbor, and the person helped me even when he was on his way out the door. He even went above and beyond to be completely honest with me about the best product for the job.

I have shopped here for almost 14 years but avoided it if at all possible due to the lack of customer service, employees that ignore customers, employees that looked like they hated to be there, and an overall depressed feeling of the store. However, in the last 6 months or so I have noticed a HUGE difference at this location. Virtually every employee speaks to me as I pass by them. They often ask if I need help and will assist even if it isn't something in their department. I see more managers on the floor doing the same thing for customers. Employees seem much more upbeat. I have had certain issues while in the store with a stock item and there has always been a satisfactory solution that didn't 45 minutes to an hour to get resolved. I am so happy to see these improvements as I am not hesitant about going here for fear of being held up 3xs longer, lack of customer service, improper items, etc., than at other locations or Home Improvement stores. I have not, in the last 6 months had a project were I have had to place an order from here, for either pick up or delivery, so I do not know if this area of the operation has also improved or not. I have had several issues in the past with order pick up and delivery but to be fair, these issues have not been central to just this location. My issues have spanned several Home Depot locations. Maybe I'll update this review as my season gets under way and I get into my first order or two.

The workers at the Seven Mile/Meyers Home Depot in Detroit are especially great. They make sure they're either sending you to the right place or leaving you in the right area to make whatever selections you want to make. And sometimes they even give suggestions about things to think about when deciding what to buy, that I had not thought of myself.

I bought 3 cans of paint and 6 cans of spray paint for rental property. I was happy that everything was in stock. But what was more pleasant was the cashier Erica. She was so calm and pleasant. Her big bright smile was welcoming as she checked my items out. I was thinking I hope Hope Depot hires more pleasant people like her! Her demeanor made me have a change of attitude towards others. My day was busy, but she acknowledged that with a smile! I was wowed! I usually got to the Home Depot in Canton, but this Home Depot (on 7 Mile and Meyers) is a real asset to the area. Hope Depot please acknowledge the cashier Erica because made a difference. Thanks for hiring her!
