The customer service that I was shown was in my opinion was ABOVE and BEYOND! I was greeted when I first walked in the store and was shown EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE throughout my entire visit. Thanks to the Sales Associates in this store!!

I visited Home Depot Store # 6674 this evening, kind of in a hurry because it was almost to closing. The store associate realized I was a little bit frantic about the shopping time, she courteously approached and directed me to an open register to make my payment and also thanked me with a smile on my way out. It was a pleasant moment for me, and I felt the need to post this encounter to encourage other customers to give this store and the associates a try, you will feel the difference in customer-service.

Overall the store was fine. They had obviously just received a massive shipment but employees were ok. But self check out only? This was a rude shock. I had items that had to be measured by the cashier. So now I had to wait. I will not be going back to Home Depot unless it is an emergency due to companies massive lack of interest in providing customer service.

Busy but very friendly

Be aware, people in parking lot pushing patrons to buy fruit, not home depot employees. Also aisles are cluttered with boxes, carts, and products. associates had no idea of products or where to find them.

Zero stars: It was near closing time when we wanted to pay. The lumber checkout was closed. At the next checkout, an employee was checking out a customer. So, we waited and attempted to have the cashier help us. Priscilla came by and told the cashier not to help us, even though it was so slow that cashiers were just standing around. When we proceeded to customer service and asked to be checked out, Priscilla followed us and scolded an employee who was trying to help us. So, we asked for a supervisor. Priscilla called loss prevention instead. As seen on the video, she yelled at us and wanted to kick us out for trying to pay. She said she was banning us and my mother from the store. Why did she have to bring up my dead mother?? During this video-taped interaction, all the employees were standing around instead of helping us with checkout. Why??? The whole time she wasn't wearing her mask. She was the only one NOT wearing a mask. Why did we have to endure this ordeal just to be rung up on a slow night???.

My fiancé and I moved to Elk Grove in August of 2020 and love it! It is extremely clean, especially compared to other Home Depot’s we’ve gone to before. They have always had what we needed in stock and are lucky to have a reliable Home Depot in our area.

but its the only one close to my business so I have to shop there to maximize my time

The store was fine. The lack of STAFFED full service check outs is a problem. I am not an employee and received no discount for self check out. ALL self check out after the one contractor line that was available closing at night is unacceptable. I left my purchase on the counter and walked out on one visit with self check out. Saving money by making pseudo slave labor out of customers (no pay) is not my idea of an ideal shopping experience.

My family was discriminated against this evening by at least four so called customer service representatives. My son is Deaf and therefor his caregivers are not required to wear a face mask per CA governor orders AND the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I had a face mask, my spouse did not. Immediately the cashier told him to step away and claimed she did not feel safe serving him. Fair enough. I stepped up and mentioned that my son was Deaf. She said she still didn't feel comfortable. She walked away. She and several other employees started snickering and looking our way. None offered to help and instead hid behind boxes and tried to look busy. I looked around and finally noticed that my skin color was different from all of theirs. I said I felt discriminated against because I wasn't getting service. One employee looked at me and just laughed. They were disrespectful and rude. Entitled. The assistant manager had to be called up because apparently none of their employees are professional or strong enough customer service representatives to check out a woman and her 8 year old Deaf son. They are in violation of Unruh Civil Rights Act and the ADA. Hopefully a formal complaint against each individual AND this lousy establishment will set some precedence to hire more worthy candidates. So disappointing.

Mother's Day afternoon. Few customers, but lots of employees, but most standing around in groups of two and three, talking with each other. No one asked if they could help me find something. I'm looking for "builders' paper that used to be near the sheetrock supplies. It is gone (moved?) so I find a guy and ask. He has no idea what it is and directs me to Flooring. Can't find it there, so I find a pair of guys (see above) and ask. Guy says it is Building Materials where I just was ....at the other end of the store. Neither one offered to look it up on their handheld inventory device. Guy#2 says try Paint. That is where I found it. (When I ask at the big Blue Box Store, usually the employee will lead me to it - not here) Multiple aisles closed off for stocking with a forklift, but no one around for minutes at a time and the aisles remain blocked off. I can't buy what I can't pull off the shelf. Twice I had to backtrack two aisles because that was the only way to exit because multiple aisles were blocked.. At self checkout there are no customers beside me and three employees, chatting with each other. They ignore me while I wrestle with two large items. Finally when I stare at them long enough, one of them comes over and without a word, bags my small items. None of them says a word to me, before, during or after the transaction. The employees at this store have absolutely NO IDEA what customer service is and management is not on the floor, or is also clueless. If you go to this store you are really on your own.

Customer service in extremely poor at this location. Employees are rude and give poor directions despite the customer trying to be cheerful and polite. Even the customer service employees are lacking customer service protocols. Processes for assistance with checkout and loading products is lacking.

Great staff and lots of selection. We will be back

THD 6674 EG took loading assistance to the next level for my fence project. Materials for a 65' fence most of which I loaded for the cashier BUT the pickets... 200 pickets where brought out on the forklift and Nick, Travis, Joey, and Taylor expedited them into my enclosed ramped trailer. Thanks again guys!

Eli, who works in Appliances has helped me countless times in the past for my needs! I think he is a “service champion” for he really goes out of the way to help you! I was especially impressed that he was willing to let me know if the dishwasher I ordered goes on sale before it is delivered, he will let me know and make the price adjustment-automatically! Wow! That is amazing!! Let’s get the starting pay at HD 17.00/hr! These guys work their tails off for Homer!

The associates in the appliance department were knowledgeable. friendly and very helpful

I always shop for my hardware and landscaping needs at this store. I would recommend speed bumps infront of the store for safety.

Wait time for employee assistance is incredibly long. Supervisor ignores you and makes you feel like you’re blind and cannot see product behind other items.

Excellent service from a sale representative George Curry. I would suggest he be your first point of contact in the Appliance department.

I always enjoy to shop at Home Depot’s, it’s like a kid in a toy or candy store! I can’t complain about this store, always great friendly staff!

I will only go to this particular location because of the Store Manager PRISCILLA. She is AMAZING! She took the time to listen to my complaint and because of her demeanor she made me feel like I could trust her and that she would provide the best customer service she could, and she did. Home Depot made a GREAT move by making her the Store Manager. Priscilla is a GREAT find and ASSET.
