The young man named Bady truly went above and beyond. When I waved to him from the opposite side of the garden center, he could have pretended not to see me, but he cheerfully rushed to help me find what I needed and load the very heavy and awkward items into my cart. He then apologized that the garden center cashier was leaving, and that I would have to go inside to self checkout assuring me that he would meet me at my car to load my purchases. He did all of that quickly, efficiently, and cheerfully, and even expressed concern about how I would need assistance when I returned home. Very impressive.

The store is clean, and well maintained. It is the small things though that can drive a customer away. Why can't anyone help me change the email that my receipts are sent to, and for God's sake; whey are the clerks in such a hurry to complete the transaction before the customer has a chance to click the button for sending receipts to an email, or changing an email address.

The store is very neat and the staff is very helpful.

I was a little frustrated when I first got there because I had called ahead to see if they had the lights I wanted in stock, was told yes only to find out that they actually didn't have them in store. However, there is power in good customer service and Andrew M is the example of that

Received what I consider exceptional customer service. I asked Derrick with help with finding plumbing and electrical supplies. He was friendly and enthusiastic. Actually gave me the impression he enjoys helping customers.

We could not imagine three more helpful people than Angelina, George and Andrew at the Matthews Home Depot on a busy Labor Day Saturday holiday weekend, 2023.

I have been shopping in THE HOME DEPOT for many many years and am so GRATEFUL that I know there is always great value there. Fair pricing. Friendly and knowledgeable employees No worries about delivery. Very respectful DELIVERY men.

The Matthews Home Depot Store is very convenient to my home in Mint Hill. Access to the store is very accommodating, as there is a traffic signal on Matthews Township Parkway which allows safe and efficient in and out. The parking lot is large and close to the store. One can park near the part of the store where the desired products are located.

This place has any kind of cleaning product that a person would need.

Extremely helpful and friendly employees specifically Landon and CJ. They both are very knowledgeable about the products and answer all my questions. I would definitely come in and ask to speak to one of the two if you’re needing help.

The customer service I received from Jazz at self-checkout was outstanding. Jazz was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to address my concerns. I highly recommend their exceptional service to anyone in need.

Purchasing a new fridge was so quick and easy because of the helpful staff.

I just wanted to make it a point to say that Michael Hamilton was one of the most professional employees I have ever met at a Home Depot. He was respectful not only verbally, but in the was he dressed and presented himself. He swept his area when there was no customers at his register, as well as wiping down his counter. Some people may not appreciate him, and think he is just working a register, but I was taught to do the best job you can no matter what job you are doing, and he exemplified that. If more people conducted themselves like Michael, the world would be a better place. He made my day better because he took the time to show respect and be helpful, enough so that I went out of my way to tell him so.

This store is severely understaffed, and apparently rudeness toward customers is tolerated. I suspect a high employee frustration level.
