Waited 30 minutes for the nursery employees to load our truck with landscaping pavers. Once they arrive to our truck, he had an entire pallet of pavers even though we only ordered 40. When we told him we only needed 40, he complained that he’d just wasted his time loading over 80 of them.

We were very impressed with Kim’s knowledge and experience with the kitchen cabinets, she was very friends and attentive to our needs and very helpful in choosing the right fit for our project.

This is one of the friendliest Home Depot’s that I have ever been to. It’s extremely clean and all of the younger workers created me with a smile. They weren’t pushy but very helpful if need be.

Was very pleased with the custom made counter tops. Time from order to install was only about 3 weeks. The two men who did the install very friendly and were meticulous in cleaning up any dust or debris from the install. However, I would not advise ordering custom shades from this store. I ordered 7 custom shades, it took three months to get them delivered and I had to call this store twice because I never received a call from the person who was supposed to install the shades - so another week. All total almost 4 months to get 7 shades!! The installer also was very unpleasant.

Selection of tools was unsurpassed.

The Home Depot in Mattoon is really an exceptional store. Every employee there goes out of their way to be helpful and friendly -- making a visit there just awesome. I just purchased a range and clothes dryer from them, and was blown away by the great service I got -- from Kim in Appliances, to the young lady in the front who checked me out for other items I purchased. I've been in other Home Depots in Missouri -- never got the "red-carpet" treatment I got at Mattoon.

These are the three employees that gave me A-1 Service at my most recent adventure in Home Depot. Marilyn, Kim, and Marissa. Three cheers to them for great customer service!

Very good staff very knowledgeable. Store is very organized. Needs a better service for appliances being delivered not for a rush job have to wait for appliances for 3 days was my experience. Had to go elsewhere to get job completed.
