I went to Home Depot to kill some time before Marshalls opened and use a gift card from last Christmas. I didn't really need anything but cleaning supplies. I had the best time. The store was noticeably spotless, workers deliberately helpful and happy and I just felt like there was a respect of the customers experience from the second I walked in the door. Kind of odd, but I left that store skipping out on a cold winters day and inspired to clean/organize my home.

I bought a heating Thermostat and It was exactly what I wanted. However, it would have taken me time to look for the item but a Rep was available to take me to the right Isle and this made my trip at the Home Depot brisk along with the fact that check out was easy and short.

I went in to get command hooks. Looking for staff...none were to be found...until I was directed to a staffer who blew my mind. He saved me a wad of money by suggesting a better alternative to what I originally wanted. After that, I eneded up leaving with several things when I only came for one. Way to go Home Depot Gateway Mall

The employees were friendly and the store was extremely clean.

It sometimes seems that when you ask for help you are bothering the person. Some definitely need an attitude adjustment as well as what they say within customers ears. SOme of the language would make a truck driver blush. Furthermore, I am not interested in what color or type of underwear the workers are wearing. I f I was the GM I wouls have a dress code with consequences for violators, hike those pants up!

Nice and full of merchandise

The store carries reasonably priced merchandise. There is sufficient availability of many household products and home improvement items at this location. The check-out line is usually very lengthy and there never seem to be enough cashiers or any staff members whatsoever available to answer questions or offer assistance to customers when needed. Basically they're too busy "looking" at their phones. I'm assuming that they're not allowed to talk on them while "working" shall we say! On the rare occasion that you can actually find an employee to ask a question of, usually they have no clue. Afterall, they "only work there!"

Long lines at the register, no help to find items from employees and websites are misleading for items availability for this location. 20 years shopping here for what I need and as always 100% disappointed!

The workers need to be trained about customer service, and to be educated about the products and materials. Some of the floor workers are in the back aisles socializing. Sometimes it is not easy to find workers to offer help.

Disgusting behavior from the staff! I purchased 2 items. I went to return one and they refunded me the wrong item. When I went to exchange the item, they claimed that I had already returned this item and tried to return it again and tried to accuse me of stealing. I feel disgusted by their terrible behavior and customer service. After arguing with them of course they realized that I was right and that I am honest but they way that they made me feel is unacceptable and no customer should ever have to go through this!

I want to thank mrs Janie in the window blinds department, she was sooo helpful and she took the time out to help me and gave me lots of choices to decide what is best for my window blinds…. She was awesome god bless her oxoxoxoxox

I had the best experience with two exceptional associates while looking for an outdoor heater at the end of the season. I checked the website for my local home depot at Gateway Drive in Brooklyn for an outdoor heater because I had a barbecue and the weather forecast was 59 degrees and about to spoil my event. When I got to the store after speaking to a few associates, I was told there was none. I insisted that the store had one in stock as per the website. I was then directed to the customer service area, where I met Rebecca, a bubbly and warm woman who went above and beyond to track down the item in the inventory. She called out to Bruno, a lovely associate like Rebecca, who went into the back to locate the heater. Miraculously they found the lone heater and saved my event. Thanks to Rebecca and Bruno, we had a fantastic barbecue, and everyone was warm. Additionally, I met a gentleman in lighting who was going off duty, but he returned and retrieved a rope light for me. Thank you!

I THINK ONE WOULD ALWAYS H AVE A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE AT THIS STORE.

I love this location because because I have always been lucky to meet great helpful staff, knowledgeable staff who goes above and beyond to make sure I find every item I go for. If an item is not in stock I’m given options, pick up at another location or have it shipped to my home.

China and Anna from hardware gave great customer service.. They help me find all my needs with no hesitation.

Cashier Daniel 25001 provided the best customer service. She most definitely went above and beyond. She not only looked up the items online but she also located items that weren’t on the store shelves. She was polite, patient and friendly. I was very pleased. I really needed these items and thanks to her I purchased them today at Starett City Home Depot.

All associates I dealt with were very helpful. Each time I shop here I have the same experience.

Lousy department service help. Only 2 self checkout registers open. No managers in store.

The shelves at this location are always neat and well stocked. Employees are usually available to assist or answer questions.
