There is a Home Depot much closer to our home but we were in the area of this Airport Highway store and to be honest if we have the extra time we will make the drive to the Airport Highway store whenever possible they were so much more helpful and friendly! We had not one but TWO people ask if we were finding everything okay - we can barely manage to find a worker at the Alexis Road location and if we do they are not nearly as nice and/or less knowledgeable than this Airport Hwy location - and the gentleman at checkout asked if we found everything like they’re obviously supposed to but acted like he was actually ready to help if our answer was no.

This store has the most friendly employees of any store that I shop at. Once at the self pay checkout with an armful they brought a cart to me and helped with the checkout without me asking.

We just purchased a new home and went to our local Home Depot to purchase some tools and supplies. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We spent a lot of time in the paint department and the young lady who helped us was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly, She really made this shopping experience enjoyable.

From the moment I stepped in to when I left over an hour later, I was treated with nothing but respect and attentiveness. Thank you so much!

I love this HD and prefer to shop at this one. It's always neat and cleaner than the rest. The employees are friendly and always helpful. The service desk is always on it and makes the shopping experience great.

If you I are looking for a new appliance go and see Michael Schmidt. We just bought a new washer and he helped us with it. He did an amazing job helping us and answering our questions. The best part of all he was right there to help us when we got there unlike other stores where you have to hunt someone down.

My whole experience for buying flooring and having a Home Depot contracted company install the flooring was one of the worst decisions of my life. It has caused me and my family the most inconvenience and I have NEVER felt less important as a customer from any company ever. CFI is the company that Home Depot uses, and they had zero communication skills. They rescheduled my flooring appointment 3 times, and no showed once. I left more than several voicemail with them and had no return phone calls. I even sent them texts from a number that they text my phone from, so that they could tell me they’re forcibly rescheduling my flooring appointment. The only good experience I had from them was their customer service. If I could star rate them, it would be a 5/5. They were sweet, kind, and understanding. The only people who gave us any real results and actually got help to have the flooring department actually pick up their phone and get the flooring install done. If you’re still reading this, please consider a family owned business and don’t make my mistake.

We found just what we were looking for. We were not sure just where to look but Melanie took us to the area and we found it right away. The store was very clean and all of the associates are friendly and helpful, they always ask if we need help finding something.

Customer service staff go above and beyond to help rectify any issues with online orders, and the store staff is always helpful and knowledgeable when you're looking for that one odd thing that you're just not sure where to find.

I had several items in a variety of departments and everyone was very helpful from paint suggestions, special order vanity and the proper faucet to fit it. Cashier very prompt and friendly.

You guys are way better than the competitors because your customer service is a priority above everything else and it shows. It's no wonder at Home Depot has so many loyal customers.

Big Al in the paint section was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of our paint needs. He went out his way to make sure we understood the importance of our selection and explained Home Depot’s paint program. Big Al is the best!!!!

Nice employee Mike in the wood area helped make my home improvement visit quick and easy. Helped cut a few pieces of wood to fix my furniture and had friendly conversation.

Home Depot has a pretty good selection of flowers. The flowers looked vibrant, healthy and were easy to locate. The store was neat and clean as well and the associate was friendly.

I was greeted and given great help and advise from the guy in the paint department about how to do the job that came in handy. When I checked out and showed my Veteran's I.D. I not only got my discount I was also thanked for my military service.

This is the best Home Depot in Toledo! All their employees are spot on and the knowledge they have regarding home repair and remodeling projects is just what a DIYer needs to make a project great!... Thanks Home Depot, for always being there!

I visited Store #3801 to purchase carpet for a rental property. The employee in the flooring area did not greet us or offer any assistance when we entered the area. When we approached him with questions, he was not very friendly or knowledgeable about padding or commercial/residential carpeting. He also informed us that the military discount would apply to our purchase, which we later found out was not true. During the carpet measurement, the contractor did not submit measurements for the whole house despite physically walking the contractor through every room that needed carpet and providing specific instructions. We discovered this several days later when we had to return to the store to pay for the carpet. It was at this time we were informed we would not receive the military discount. The contractor's mistake resulted in significant delays and financial repercussions since we had to delay the tenant's move-in date. We re-scheduled another measurement for the missed areas and are hoping all the carpet can be installed the same day. Steve and customer service tried to help, but we were never offered any compensation or discount for the major inconvenience. This whole process has been very stressful and resulted in almost half a dozen trips to the store as we micro-managed the process.

The store was very clean. I found everything very easy and the associates was very friendly and helpful.

It seems to me that all of the employees at this particular store go above and beyond for their customers. Big Al in the paint department walked around the entire store with me helping me figure out how to best complete my gate closure project even though he had a knee brace on. He also introduced me to Debbie Ann in electrical who also went above and beyond in helping me figure out how to fix my reptile lighting issue. Several employees asked me if they could help me find something or told me an entertaining story or offered a bright smile which I could see in the crinkling of their eyes above their mask. This was truly a wonderful visit to the Home Depot and I would definitely go again.

The associates were ALL outstanding. From the paint department to the service desk to the cashier. All were super nice and went beyond basic service and went the seldom seen extra mile!!!
