Home Depot in Gilroy, always has the products I need and provides great service!

Home Depot doesn't just advertise being a customer friendly store, it actually does things that really focus on customer needs. For example it is doing a fantastic job with it's curbside pick-up. They have knowledgeable people helping the customer find the order they had made on line in case you didn't bring your printout. The customer service area is designed for your health safety and they will quickly solve your problem. This year they were the only one of the two large home improvement stores that carried seeds for vegetables, herbs, flowers, organic seeds and/or heritage seeds.

Ordered over $ 6600 inc tax in flooring. Told to wait two weeks for store pick up. Never got a call. When called to ask about order they told me my “skew was inactive” and they cancelled my order. I received no call or refund. They told us we had to call other Home Depot and see if they had product and go pick it up. They were extremely unhelpful. I had to force customer service to speak with a manager. Had to wait over 4 hours for them to tell me they can’t help. I asked for a refund and was told to come in to the store. I had to ask the clerk if she could do it now over the phone. Which she could but wasn’t willing to try and make my life easier until I asked. Unreal! I also had to ask for an email of proof of refund. They need to get it together. Overall They had no concern for the position they put us in. Didn’t offer any restitution for their actions either.

Very helpful staff, had everything I needed to complete the job I was working on at the time, good experience all around.

Employees here are rude. Go to Morgan Hill or even Seaside. You’ll find better customer service anywhere but the Gilroy location.

The store is a short distance from home clean and the staff is very friendly.

There are a lot of poorly trained employees at this store. I suggest making sure that Reese or Darby are there before you risk going. The products are good. They need to train their employees.

The shelf price tag said that if a certain number of items were purchased, a lower price per item would be charged. I used the self-checkout, scanned the items but no discount was given. An employee helped me but still could not get the discount. After about 5 minutes she was able to manual enter the discounted price (on override). She said that the computer must not have had the discount programmed into it. Really ! I was in several months earlier and saw the identical tag with the identical quantity discount offered. Maybe those self-checkout devices are misnamed. Instead of "scanner" they should be called "scammers"!

Always find what I need here---& priced right.

I love my Gilroy Home Depot, everyone is welcoming and helpful. Anything I need I know they will have it in stock. I can always count on them to have what I need at any particular time I'm there.

Terrible place to shop if you need help. Don't expect to find an employee to assist in a timely manner. Today I waited at least 30 minutes after making repeated requests. Similar experience last week. I hope to never go back this store.

WELL STOCKED AND NOT CROWDED.

Have been shopping at our Gilroy store for almost 4 years (after 20 years in other stores across the country). I enjoy the warmth of the people across all departments (and I experienced almost all departments when we built a second house ourselves) as well as their knowledge. I have not experienced one incident where someone was dismissive because I did not know the name of what I was looking for (since German is my first language, I do not know all the English terms for lots of things and still struggle with inches and feet). Besides being a great store, with great people, and great attitude, I enjoy the community participation. My sons participated in "first Saturday kid project days", the HD area at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, and the rodeo. He is always excited about going to the Home Depot and recognizes the logo/colors immediately.

Great store to go to, always clean and staff are very friendly that makes your experience that much more excited to go.
