Visited the Bannister location in South KCMO on a weekday in the early afternoon. The store was not crowded or particularly busy. Just inside the front entrance we were greeted by a friendly woman, and she was the ONLY employee I saw until reaching the checkout. No one to ask a question of, no one to ask about an out-of-stock part, no one to assist in any way. I searched for an employee thrpugh plumbing, exterior doors, and lumber but was unsuccessful. None were present or assisting other customers, leading me to wonder if they were invisible. Luckily a fellow customer offered some advice and I was able to get what i needed. At the checkout only the self service was available, and the employee monitoring it said nothing, and did nothing. Actually the whole trip was self-service, LOL. Not the place to go if one needs advice or assistance!

Gabe and Josh were very helpful and friendly from the beginning and o the end.

After waiting months for my purchases to arrive, what did arrive was returned and my account credited even though paid for and in constant contact I found this very unsatisfactory in completing my project. I ended up ordering and receiving items in a timely fashion through the competition, and added discounts for time wasted with Home Depot. I don't see myself using Home Depot in the future. Thanks for wasting months of my life and delaying my project!

The staff at this store was amazing. Bobby was over the top helpful! He found a similar product to fill my needs and adjusted the price to reflect the item that was out of stock. Excellent customer service!!

This location is easy to get in and out. I often go to North Metcalf in Overland Park, KS but that store is busy and complicated. This one is easy. I plan to shop here more often.

The store was clean and product were easy to find. Cashiers were frendly and helpful.

Just like most home depots, it can sometimes take a long time to do get some basic help, but overall it's above average as far as customer service. The employees are helpful and things are (usually) in stock.

I was ignored by every employee or told I would have to wait...then never came back to me. A female paint employee was rude and snarky.

This store was considerably out of my way to purchase the items I wanted, but I was glad that I made the trip. The checkout clerk was amazing and the website reflected an accurate inventory enabling me to make my purchase with confidence.

There was never anybody around to help with the items I was trying to find. It seemed like nobody worked at this store. The man that did somewhat help me never looked me in the face, and he kept walking away as I was asking him questions. Very disrespectful. I will not be returning to this location.

A few employees are not interested in working to serve the customer: i.e. find pricing when item not marked and no greeter to speak to customers entering store without masks (city mandate). Cost more time than I save shopping at this store. No ready manager to get help when employees have issue. Will travel farther from now on to find my product.

Most of my experiences at Home Depot in the Kansas City area are unpleasant they lack customer service and courtesy or respect for the customer however my last visit at the Home Depot in Bannister was not as bad as most of them the cashier that checked me out was very helpful and polite she actually showed some customer service. I spent thousands of dollars a week in Home Depot’s so it is nice to finally come across an employee that shows a little bit of care I’d like to personally thank Angel at the banister Home Depot

Angel was wonderful and so friendly to work with. We will definitely be visiting this store location again.

This store has a good inventory so rarely need to run around shopping for what I need. Fair, competitive pricing. Recently appreciated the store handles and displays storm doors. Not all Home Depots do. The department manager, Josh, assisted me on a recent purchase and was excellent. I special ordered 2 nice Andersen doors and they set up expert installation. I usually choose Home Depot and sincerely appreciate they honor Veterans with a discount for our years of service to our country.

Love this store all the the employees are very helpful especially Ronitta she's always super friendly all welllig to help with a smile.

Cashier Michelle who helped me on 1/16 at 5:44pm with my purchase was very pleasing to meet and even help me save money for my purchase on that date. I also wish more of your cordless tools could be onsite no matter what store it is since I originally stopped at the Home Depot store on Metcalf earlier that day but the particular cordless ratchet I wanted was not stocked on site. I almost drove to Harbor Freight but I sat in my truck and watch a tool review of other model cordless ratchets and made the decision to stop by Home Depot on Bannister to complete my shopping experience.
