I have been a long time customer of the Balboa Home Depot. What I love most about this Home Depot is the level of consistent customer service that I often receive from the staff. No matter which department I shop; whether it be in hardware, paint, garden or returns department, I'm always approached by warm, engaging and genuine staff members. I love the fact that when I do have a return, which is rare, I always receive great service and a no "problem attitude!" I always find what I need, the shelfs are well stocked and the garden department has a vast selection of plants, potting soil and garden pots. Today, I purchased outdoor cushions for my patio table and chairs at a fantastic price. My back yard has been transformed, and has never looked better! I'm now ready for my summer BBQ's and ready to entertain.

Today was the third time in the last three months that a new checkout clerk was not properly trained: first time she missed two items. Twice the clerk has not entered the 10% discount even though I showed her my ID card and I had to go back to customer service and have a do-over.

Great experience buying outdoor chair cushions. Not enough in stock so other stores were checked. Chose to buy online with associates assistance. Flawless experience and they will be delivered at no additional fee to my home.

What a great selection of plants! I spent at least half an hour just looking at all the cacti. Amazing and fun.

Every time I go and am looking for something, staff at the customer service area willingly look up to see if they have the item I am describing since I do not always know the name of what I want. Like I wanted the stakes for gardening to identify what was in my garden and I couldn't find it. The clerk pointed me to where they were, but I told her I didn't find them. She couldn't leave the check out area, but she quickly looked up on the computer and it showed how many were in the store. I returned to that area and did find them. I find this help in all of areas I go to.

I recently purchased laminate flooring and baseboard molding. My purchase, with the help of Jennifer L. in the flooring dept. and Em H. in pro services was exemplary – considering the screwup with HDMS. HDMS are incompetent and/or useless. HDMS sent an examiner to my house to assess the installation. Where he took the dimensions of the room. There, online I chose a baseboard. When I came in the next day to pay for it the order was not correct. The salesperson that night was having trouble communicating to HDMS, where in the middle of the call we were disconnected and had to start all over again. The baseboard that I thought I ordered was not on the quote and the SKU that was on the HD website did not compute with HDMS. I spent over an hour with the salesperson while she was trying to help me. I left thinking we had straightened the quote out and for me to come in the next day and pay for it. The next day I came in and Jennifer L. assisted me. Again, HDMS had the quote wrong. Jennifer took me to pro services where a Em H. assisted us. HDMS had placed a different baseboard on the quote. They also had a measurement wrong by almost 10 feet. These 2 ladies helped me immensely and I wish I had their last names. I hope the installation can go as smoothly but I am having my doubts.

Safety concern here. Many customers don't wear masks and employees state that there's nothing to do but let them walk around. Too dangerous to shop here.

At THIS Home Depot, we were pleasantly surprised to have the staff greet us and reach out to us, a contrast with others. Jennifer Lentsch greeted us swiflty, assessed what we needed, offered her knowledge base, and then found other employees to weigh in and answer questions. Dave Hill worked with us to offer his vast knowledge, suggested different products, helped us compare items, color match, and then select the best lots of tile. They made us feel like our project was theirs too.Great Staff!

Alberto in electrical was amazing. Helped me with my lamp and new wiring. He went above and beyond!

The associates in the store are very helpful and friendly. The store has arranged a shaded area in case there is a line outside, carts are easily accessible, and associates are available in all the departments I have ever chosen to shop in. Love this store.

employees on floor were very helpful. my cashier was rude and not helpful, I stated my mom was 87, and that yes i forgot her military I.D for discount. I understand that I could not use it, but then I asked her if she could tape receipt to my moms water filters and she handed me a big roll of packaging tape and walked away, hmmm. I had no scissors to cut tape, so I had to walk away. :(

I have been shopping at this Home Depot since 1992 and have always found the employees to be helpful and friendly.

This is one of the best Home Depot stores. Associates are well organized and very knowledgeable. They are always eager to help you find the best solutions.

I like this store because the staff seems well organized and are willing to help you find what you needed. I also like so far they have had everything that I needed. I did not have to go to other stores plus I like how they take care of their Veterans.

I'VE BEEN TO THIS STORE OVER THE YEARS MANY MANY TIMES AND I LOVE THIS STORE. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT ANYTIME TO ANYONE - EVEN FOLKS WHO LIVE CLOSER TO OTHER STORES.

This is the 4 or 5th appliance we have purchased at this store. Staff has always been knowledgeable and helpful. Deliveries have been prompt and delivery driver and helper polite and helpful. Keep up the good service, and we will always shop HD first. Thanks :)

My first time trying to return an item with receipt & it was denied & customer service at the time couldn’t help us. We’re so upset bcuz there was no reason for deny our return w/receipt. Myself & my husband would never shop here again if this didn’t get taken care of. So Thankfully we can back a few days later. Walter The store manager, went above & beyond to Help us. soooo thankful we did Since he was able overwrite the error. He was “Extremely” patient & helpful. Katie the cashier was also super sweet & informative compared to other staff members we dealt with.

Store was clean and easy to find what I needed. Employees always asked if I needed any help (I usually do). Susan was wonderful to me in helping with my return and we chatted for a bit, she really made me feel at home and took care of me.

Is convenient and close to my home. I find what I need everytime. Employees are very helpful, and their advice has saved me time and money Thank you
