This store, like all the Home Depot is clean and well stock.

Store very clean, i would come back because of Darlene at self check-out, no matter what she alway ask me, do you need my help with a smile.

If you have to return something, this is certainly not the store to do so at. The costumer service pro, Lyn, was rude throughout the visit, and gave false information. I asked to reprint a receipt and she claimed that she was unable to do so and stated the store is not able to do so (even though I have done this many times during different trips). She was very argumentative and abrasive.

I feel so lucky because the Home Depot nearest me has the BEST employees! They’re so kind and friendly while still being proficient. They store is always clean and well stocked. Love this store!

Organized, clean, associates all were safety conscience and wore masks, and it was a very friendly shopping experience. Prices were compatable and everything needed was in stock.

Easy access from Rt 40, ample parking, friendly knowledgeable staff and great selection. Found some great deals with the help of Ted, John and Pro Barb.

This is a very nice store. Associates are pleasant and helpful, and the store is always neat, clean and organized.

The person that specializes in kitchen remodeling was extremely helpful and proficient. We met several times and she showed us different styles of cabinets, counter tops and hardware. We were shown backsplashes of different styles to choose from and she made several recommendations to assist us in our choices. She wasn't afraid to tell us if she thought something that we picked wouldn't work the best for us and made sure we made the final decision on which items to use. I am looking forward to the upgrade of our kitchen and I am sure that everything we purchased at Home Depot will work perfectly, and if there is a problem our sales person will make sure it is corrected.

Store has always been clean. Customer service outstanding, including the return area.

At this point all homedepot are shady. If you return something and get a store credit, then need to return that item even if it is an exchange you CAN NOT without a 14 day written notification and a hassle. Soloing homedepot

This store has really changed, this store manager is really improving this store. Nice staff, willing to help and go the extra mile. Every time I shop here always have my items in stock, if not I will order from this store. This store makes it feel like family which is important.

Home Depot is my Favorite toy store but of all the Home Depot locations near where I typically work (there are a total of 5), the Home Depot in People's Plaza, Newark, DE is hands down my favorite. The level of professional assistance and customer service delivered by the employees here is simply great and much appreciated! The store is consistently clean and special promo items are always easy to find and in stock. The employees are always kind and quick to help when needed with a smile.

This is just a fantastic store with spectacular associates. I shop this store 99% of the time because they are always so helpful and respectful. I know that there are always things that go wrong with a product or project especially when you deal with the public, but this store goes above and beyond to react and respond to the problem to solve it / make it work for all parties...

Amanda made the trip I don’t normally like going to hardware stores I’m not born with the fix it genes and I was helped beyond my expectations I not only have a fix for the roof box for my camping trip I had a great experience, honestly I walked around the store trying to find it myself only to end up passing it several times , I was told the item I saw online was just that only online, wasn’t sure how I was going to secure this box for my trip (duck tape maybe?) amanda helped me find the lug nut that would fit so I could go on my trip and not have to worry will it fall off during or lose even more parts . Five stars

Employees in the rug area did do not assist when I was struggling retrieving items. The set there talking to each other, no other customers.

On 9/11 I tried to use my veteran id to get my vet discount. I was told by the cashier that it was only valid 3 times a year. Unless you are an active SURVICE member or a DISABLED vet. A VET IS A VET AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THE DISCOUNT ANYTIME.It looks too me that Home depot doesn't care about all vets. Here is a new flash my life was at risk just as much as any other vet.

This is a nice clean store that we use each week for home improvement items. The staff are all friendly and very helpful in finding what we want and delivering the friendly service we're looking for during this stressful pandemic when some folks tend to avoid you.

Very good customer service. Curtis and Rene were very helpful. Rene had clocked out for the day, ready to go home, when she spotted me in the parking lot after I had picked up the wrong part, she walked back in the store and grabbed the right part for me. NOW THAT's CUSTOMER CARE. Curtis is very knowledgeable in Plumbing, helped us resolve issues in our bathrooms. He is very patient and goes out of his way to help customers, he treats people equally, gives his utmost attention to each customer he goes "ABOVE AND BEYOND" .. NOW THAT's PAR EXCELLENCE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Absolutely love the outlay of the Garden store area. looking for lawn, garden and outdoor items becomes very easy to pick up

Poor customer service at the return desk and really bad service at the self checkout with associates coping attitudes and mouthing off to customers. Not good.

Great store with knowledgeable and friendly employees!
