The Orange, CT Home Depot is a great store! The employees are so very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! We were able to find what we needed, with assistance from the associates. We highly recommend this Home Depot!

The store is fully stocked and staff is great.

The sales person in appliances was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Mike Grazio did an outstanding job helping me to make my decision on buying a new refrigerator.

The customer service at this location is quite lack luster. The team members seems less than enthusiastic to assist.

This is the worst store ever. The last two weekends, I relied on Home Depot for two big purchases for my new home. After the 3rd day at the store in the last two weekends, I cannot wait to keep bashing Home Depot on social media and to every single person I know. It was truly painful. A waste of two weekends, and not one knowledgeable person to help. The store needs to be demolished and completely restarted, management down. 1st weekend: Bought a $2000 John Deere tractor. It took 3 hours to get out of the store (inconvenience). Act like you’ve sold this type of product before and get your customer in and out. Not all of us have time to waste. We had one person helping us (Jose), who was actually very helpful and willing, but he needed more help from other workers. It should not have taken that long to get out of your store (Saturday ruined). He wasn’t very knowledgeable in the product, but that’s not his fault. Not one person could tell me what we needed for oil and if the tractor would come with everything we needed. Don’t sell the product if you can’t explain it. 2nd weekend (Saturday and Sunday in your store), what a waste of time: Decided to come back and buy a grill now this weekend, what a mistake. Went right for the Weber grills because I knew what I wanted. Got assistance, everything was going great. My house has natural gas, so we were told to buy a propane grill and then we were told we that we need to buy a natural gas converter. So we bought both and set everything up at my house. The grill was simply not getting the gas it needed to get started. BECAUSE ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS BUY A NATURAL GAS GRILL. Which we didn’t know you had. Why were we told to buy another $90 product in the converter? What a waste. Know your products. So now we have to come back to Home Depot the next day (I don’t have a truck so I am borrowing someone else’s precious time too). There weekend is also ruined now. Thanks. We come back now with the grill for what should be a simple exchange... you would think! Nope. It takes two hours for us just to make a simple return and get what we needed. Oh and now we have to wait for the grill to be assembled and I will not have it for the party I am supposed to have. You completely wasted my weekend (which time is more valuable than money), but I also spent $2,700 there in the last two weeks for a painful and miserable experience. I will never walk into a Home Depot again after I pick up that grill when it’s assembled. I will continue to bash the name. I am taking all of my business to Lowe’s, mom&pop shops, and every single one of your competitors. On social media, I am going to make sure every single person that follows me knows how terrible your service and product knowledge is. I am in sales for a living, and I would be jobless also if I put my customers through any of the experiences that I have gone through the past weeeknds with your store. Absolutely painful. And I never write negative reviews.

Went in to complete a carpet order for which the measurement and estimate was ALREADY complete. Took 45 minutes just to finish the transaction, and when I got home I realized they never credited the $35 measurement fee. Just a horribly incompetent department.

Had one of the best customer experience in Orange Store. Store Mike was very friendly! He went above and beyond helped me with a vanity exchange! Will continue shopping in Orange Store! Thank you, Mike for helping me!

An employee named Wattson was on vacation and still came into this Home Depot. When I asked another associate where to find plumbing supplies, Wattson volunteered to take me to the section to find what I needed. He then explained the different types and suggested based on my needs what to purchase. His level of service is what I remember my father getting when I was a child. Well done Wattson!

William and Assistant Manager, Justin, know how to connect with this customer, through their genuine and caring management and customer service style. There was a little fire, which they put out to my complete satisfaction, with ease, professionalism and courtesy. For this reason, coupled with many other reasons, I could confidently recommend Home Depot, Orange, CT. A++++

Everyone at the store is friendly and Noel who works there is so kind and took his time to really help me and ensure that the wood he was cutting for me was fully accurate! He took time to hand measure each piece and I truly appreciate that extra step! Having an employee go above and beyond makes the experience of shopping there so much better and I really appreciate the kindness and assistance provided!

Tara was AWESOME! Before going to my local store I spent two days & several hours on the phone with customer service, they were unable to help solve the issue. They recommended that I go to my local store & try to sort things out, this was the best thing they could have done for me. I am so happy that I went to the store that evening and was lucky enough to have Tara assist me - she was professional, knowledgeable, courteous and considerate. Her supervisor was a huge help as well. The store was clean, shelves were stocked, and all employees were helpful.

Great store, well stocked and good service.

June, the customer service woman who answered the phone, helped me complete a purchase of 20 boxes of tile which amounted to over $600. She was so pleasant and helpful that I had a seamless transaction - all over the phone. I made the purchase, she emailed my receipts and scheduled a delivery for me just a few days from today, 12/5/20. She made the who experience. I even asked to talk to her manager Justin. I told him how amazing she was and to put this in her HR file. She's a keeper.

The store is very nice and well equipped. The employees are very nice and for the most part helpful. The only thing I don't like is there is no live cashiers. .

If you want to be treated like a human and work with people that care about their job, this is the store for you. I have had not the best experiences with other stores in the area, but Orange goes above and beyond!

The employee Bob in the Garden area was extremely nice and friendly along with the cashier and others employee on October 8th about 11am. He put my mulch in the car very neatly... Excellent teamwork and very nice, friendly and helpful. The area of the store I went to was near and clean. I definitely look for them when I return to the store.

The best Home Depot in the state of CT

I would not recommend hd due to the the products missing parts and NEVER being able to fine someone to help.

I usually have a decent experience in the store and have enjoyed going there for the last 15 years. Yesterday was a hug disappointment. One casher at service desk tried to make me go to another line. The other cashier told the customer to "spell her name", when the customer was doing it, the cashier told her "you don't have to talk slow like I'm slow (she used another word)". Whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth

Do not come into this location if you're looking for any recommendations from the associates. The guy that "helped" me behind the paint counter was extremely rude, he literally rolled his eye at my question. Worst costumer service i have ever received. I work in retail too, so i know what it is to be in the other side of the counter having a bad day, but i would NEVER roll my eyes at my costumers.

It’s hard to find help. No one wants to help and they don’t care. If you don’t know anything about the product you want to buy, your out of luck. Poor service!!!! I wanted to spend money but not to a place that didn’t care to help me and had poor customer service. This was a Saturday...
