STORE VERY CLEAN --EMPLOYEES ARE VERY FREINDLY

Purchasing major appliances, especially for a brand-new house, is usually the third largest investment an individual or family makes and for many, buying a $3,500 fridge, let alone an entire suite of appliances is intimidating and stressful. Aside from brand name, appearance, form-factor, features, warranty, customer satisfaction reviews, failure statistics, required accessories, etc., there are fit and installations considerations, availability, delivery scheduling and financing options all of which an appliance sales associate is expected to know and handle on behalf of the prospective customer. We know that, for reasons mentioned above, when it comes to customer satisfaction the job of the Sales Associate, especially an Appliance Specialists is a lot harder and often underestimated. Having worked in sales and having had to supervise personnel as well as answer to my superiors, we rarely get involved yet every once in a while, there are unique circumstances which we believe deserve acknowledgment and recognition. We consider this one of those times. From personal experience we can attest that 100% customer satisfaction is virtually impossible to achieve. Yes, CSI numbers may provide a clue yet sadly, as consumers, we are more likely to write a complaint than a commendation. This is Not a complaint! - This is a story of success! We would be very thankful if you would extend our appreciation to the Appliance Specialist member named below and find a way to acknowledge and reward her accomplishments. Being in the market for a complete suite off appliances, we have visited and reviewed all major websites as well as brick and mortar retailers in the St Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach counties area. We took time to evaluate not only the brands and models but most importantly the people and each company’s culture. To that end, we took time to visit all the Home Depot locations within the try county area looking not just for the best deal but for the best value and most importantly the best customer experience. One of the Home Depot locations we had the pleasure of visiting was the Home Depot on Gatling Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, FL. Right from the beginning we had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Diane E., one of the Appliance Specialists. The first thing that impressed us was her availability. Dianne was actively “working” the show floor. Not only that but we found her assertiveness as well as technical knowledge, patience, ability to listen to the customer, empathize and provide pertinent advice remarkable and refreshing. Dianne seemed to have the unique combination of qualities reminiscent of a seasoned detective searching for the information needed to solve a case as well as a school teacher informing and educating. As we have never been impulse buyers, we listed, learned and left. After all, we were in the middle of our due diligence and we had other retailers left to evaluate. We soon realized that, although we did not know it at the time, Ms. Dianne E. and the Home Depot on Gatling Blvd, was the store and the Appliance Specialist where we will buy our appliances from. Having concluded our research, we have returned to the Gatling Blvd. store and sought Diane. Although a few days had passed, Dianne remembered us and even more impressive, remembered the brands and models we were interested in. Needless to say, that aside from the Home Depot value, Diane has provided that unique buying experience we were looking for. We of course, purchased all appliances from her and the store on Gatlin Blvd and looking forward to visit that store and make subsequent purchases. Whether manufacturer or retailer, brand loyalty unfortunately, is becoming more and more a thing of the past. Quite often, seemingly insignificant details are enough to sway customers from one retailer to another and perhaps we are no different. What brought us back to Home Depot and specifically the Gatlin, Port St Lucie location is people like Diane. To that end, we would like to once more, extend our appreciation to her for her time and assertiveness together with our sincere gratitude. She most definitely deserves more than 5 starts on the customer satisfaction survey. We would greatly appreciate it if you would find a way to reward Diane for her knowledge, professionalism and customer centric attitude. Ms. Diane E. is a great asset to your team and the Home Depot organization.

I love this HD location the employees are kind helpful, always willing to help.

I have dealt with just about everyone in the store because I started to do some changes to the inside of the house and I love going to that store. All the people are nice to deal with and if they don't know the answer they will find someone who does. I also had some interaction with the Manager because of an issue with cabinets that I had on order and it was a pleasure to meet and talk to her. I'm a Home Depot person ALL THE WAY. I find everything very easy now,and if not I just ask. My only complaint is to keep the parking lot cleaner and stop vehicles from parking in front of the front door and running in to return an item.

Terrible employees and customer service. Would give it zero stars if i could!

Really like this store, always have what I need.

Today an employee try to stole my high performance tool in isle 16, I brought with me to the store my husband tool to make sure I was purchasing the right screw size.. he made me walked behind him half of the store and he try twice to walked faster to lost me, I asked him to give back my tool twice and finally he decided to give it back to me when he realized it would be a problem for him if he refuse. I am so disappointed this is not supposed to happen to a person who is trying to find help and guidance from employees that supposed to be there to help people with no experience in maintenance work...

This Home Depot has the best employees I have encountered in my shopping experiences. They are very helpful & team oriented when you need assistance. The quantity & quality of their products is exceptional. Glad to have them so close in Port St Lucie.

EMMA at the return counter is the best employee in HD.

It was clean and I liked how the employees introduced themself to the customers.

I consider myself a fairly good do-it-yourself guy but every now and then I can't can't locate that one thing that is a special part. On this visit I had tried several hex nuts and they would not fit the part I had with me in the store. I asked an employee named Dennis who was working nearby and he took the part and checked two or three things and pulled the hex nut out of a drawer and then explained to me why it was a special hex nut. I am beginning to really like shopping at this location because the store is always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. So far they are batting 100 in customer service and friendliness.

This is my neighborhood Home Depot! I have no complaints.

Today, Nicole helped me in the blinds department. Ideally was happy.

Went to paint dept. they were able to match the old can of paint I had .

Always clean and friendly customers service

The cashiers are always helpful, courteous and friendly. Go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. The paint Dept knows their stuff ! The store is always well stocked.

I have always found what I needed from this store. Whether it be in plumbing, electrical or lawn & garden, I've found what I needed and received the help or guidance too from the store staff. Everything seems to be organized year round and they have an updated customer service area with enough staff members to work with customers on returns. About the only improvement I can mention about the store is that on the weekends it becomes difficult to find parking.

Really great customer service

I had an excellent experience at this Gatlin Blvd store compared to the St Lucie West Blvd store. Staff at Gatlin were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I like this store because staff is very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. It's location from us is ideal ,only about 1 mile. Inside the store is kept very clean,but I think the outside could be just a little better. Hire more staff in all departments!

Went to get custom blinds made and Wilfredo was excellent in knowledge of items, explained things clearly, extremely helpful. Very good experience.

I've used this store since 2007 and most of the time the service is good. Every now and then I have trouble with cashiers who do not take the time to allow me to check yes for the e-receipt.

Very clean store and staff is very helpful. I'm new to the area and it's already my second home just because of the friendly and helpful staff.

We just bought a new home and as a result need loads of items and help. The people in this store have gone above and beyond to be helpful. They are patient and knowledgeable. This store is not the closest to our current residence but we go out of our way to shop here because of there personnel’s great service
