This store has a great staff that is always willing to assist, and is well stocked.

This review has been a long time coming. I remember when you would go in to Home Depot and associates were glad to help, willing even. The last several experiences at this HD have been horrible. When you ask for help, they act bothered. Several months ago, my husband asked a group of 4 associates chatting about sports for help in cutting chain for us. The associates all looked at each other and the young guy that helped, sighed and said "Fine, I will help. This is not my area but I can just help you". He was extremely bothered that we asked for help. When he was cutting the chain, my husband explained how he wanted it and his exact words were "We do not cut it in that length bro. Either you get this length or nothing at all." Again, we add this to our list of several horrible experiences including people dodging us if you make eye contact. Today is what made this review necessary. I went to this location with my elderly Father in Law that has dementia . Everyone inside the store was helpful. Bill helped get me a cart to put a large item on while I waited with my father in law. I was extremely gracious for his kindness. Multiple people asked us for assistance, I was happy to see that it turned around and associates were willing to help again. Then when we checked out, the cashier told us someone would be outside to help us. No one was there, we waited over 5 minutes. I went back inside and asked for someone again. No one came. A third time, no one came. Two other men helped my elderly father in law and I load the freezer in to my truck while two of the guys putting away the carts watched and saw what we were doing. This is unacceptable and will most likely be the last time I shop there. I do not need or ever ask for a red carpet carpet treatment however, when someone asks for help, you help them. Do not stare and watch them put an item in their vehicle. Lack of integrity on the teammates part, but that is Home Depot's fault for allowing this behavior to happen in their associates. If it were not for the two gentlemen in the parking lot willing to help we would have been stuck in the rain doing it ourselves.

This is my first store to stop every day. It's already like home.

Every single time I shop at this location i deal with rude cashiers. When I need to make a return the customer service associates are also extremely rude. Considering this is the last point of contact between the shopper and retailer, the associates should be kind and courteous rather than rude and condescending. The associates on the floor are always more than helpful.

Great store and great employees.

Went to Home Depot on Gatling Blvd to purchase a plastic watering can,but there was only 1 left in the cage where they were and it was broken.The associate said they had no more.

Great store to shop in a safe way during the pandemic, surplus items available to keep one's home sanitary.

Store was clean, people were nice, products were available and organized, quick with assistance and checking out.

We had a very pleasant experience in the paint department with Donna. She helped us make informed decisions regarding a current paint project, from paint to use right up to the correct brush for the job.

No customer service!!! The employees are not caring for the customer.....Asked for a manager and was told there not in.....

Excellent variety of products from most of the well known brands, at very affordable prices. The store was clean and well organized. This store is not closer to my home, but I would not mind the extra mileage and time to come back.

Generally this store is convenient. But returns and customer service representatives have POOR customer service skills. Definitely would not recommend coming here if you are going to return an item.

Store employees are not willing to assist with finding product if it is not in their area. Four separate employees were asked for assistance and one had no idea which aisle to find the item and did not offer any further assistance. Employee on the chemical aisle next to storage said it is not his department and directed me to a desk in the rear of the store. The employee at the desk said she worked in cabinetry and it is not her area. She said she would be more than willing to help me with cabinets but not storage items. She directed me to another desk further into the store and then returned to playing with her smart phone. The two employees in that area had a line of 3 people waiting for assistance. I went to the front of the store and asked the cashier for assistance. She tried but could not get anyone to answer her call for assistance.

This store is in a good location and getting in and out was easy.

Since moving to Port St Lucie, Florida 12 years ago, I am at Home Depot at least once a week! I like both the St Lucie West and the Gatlin stores! The employees are very helpful and the store is always neat and clean!!!

Gilbert the supervisor, was very helpful. Joan the cashier was the kindest person. Eddy and Jessie was helpful assisting me loading my car. Even though my shopping experience started off with an unfriendly employee who was working in the lumber department. The outcome was good.

After spending $179.56 today I waited for 30 minutes for a representative to bring red mulch to the front of the Garden Dept. When I approached an employee and asked if they could bring up a pallet of mulch and I would load the mulch myself the employee Brenson told me "You left so I didn't bring it up" I explained the type of vehicle and told him it had plants in the back. He said " Matter of fact you can get your own d#@% mulch" "As I walked away he yelled "Bet I won't load it! and once again Bet!" SHOCKED, I went inside and spoke to a manager. I worked at The Home Depot in Ft.Pierce under a Manger named Danny when I was 20 years old and my entire time working there I NEVER, EVER, not once heard any associate ever speak to a customer like this. My first thought was to return my items however I did not have the time in my day to visit a different store.

Always clean and service is great!

This store in general is well run and stock correctly. However, during this difficult time when a serious virus is rampant. This store SHOULD require everybody coming to the store to wear a mask or face coverage. There many different stores where this is an stablished policy. Protect all your employees and buyers.

I love this Home Depot. This was the FIRST time at any Hime Depot stores since moving here 10 months ago. Tylor and Olivia were AMAZING! TYLOR in Garden helped me find EVERYTHING I needed and even explained the differences in the soils so I could make an educated purchase from there on out. Brought me the soil I needed ...answered my 100 questions ( I was doing this just to see how he would respond to my questions and he took the time to answer every single one.) At ANY other home depot stores back home I was always made to feel like I was bothering the employee...or I could never find any one to help me. The store at 2200 SW GATLIN BLVD IN Port St Lucie Florida is bar none thee BEST Home Depot ive ever been to . With the whole COVID-19 going around this store was CLEAN...employees were all wearing masks and I observed several times employees wiping register areas down...anywhere human hands have touched..got wiped down with im assuming an anti virus / anti bacterial solution for the customers ( and employee safety. If I could give this store 10 stars I would! My expierience was SUPERB and I will definitely be back. I normally dont do these survey things or post up reviews but my expeirience was THAT exceptional... I just had to. Tylor in Garden was AWESOME and Olivia my cashier was the sweetest, funny cashier...she even helped me look up pricing on a few solar light things I was getting for my yard...i didnt have enough for all of em...but she helped me pick out the right one. Thank you TYLOR and OLIVIA!!!!

Your employees in the garden center are rude and disrespectful. Why have loaders if all they do is sit and watch you load unless of course you have something light

I had to call from North Carolina to order a refrigerator for a house in Port St Lucie. The gentleman in the appliance handled everything over the phone very quickly. I couldn't be happier. Much better than another big box store I dealt with last year.
