Things I bought thar I needed.

Each time I come the staff makes efforts to locate items not on shelves to see if on stock on the upper shelves … also the Pro Rewards team no matter how busy supports in anything I ask …

People are friendly, helpful, have expertise in their area. The computer systems don't get in the way of the human being helping each other out. It is well-stocked. Because of the above creating an environment of general mutual respect and trust, I've had serendipitous interactions with staff and fellow customers in this store that I cherish and will probably remember for the rest of my life (really, it's happened more than once).

This is the only Home Depot that I have visited and have someone to help me getting something that I thought they did not have.

TJ went above and beyond to get some items for me. He was fast and polite. He cares about the customer experience and has the skillls to make it happen.

Cashier Adisa is rude. What a horrible experience trying to return a shovel. She made me feel like I did not know where or if I bought it this store. I explained to her this is the only store we shop from and I used the commercial account to purchase it. I even told her the date we purchased it. Just because the barcode on the shovel did not find anything on the account does not mean that I do not know what I am talking about. All while she is smacking her gum she was chewing. I even tried to log in to my Home Depot account to pull up the transaction. Once she found it on the account, she did not even let me know that she did while I was still trying to log in. Very rude!

My shopping experiences continue to worsen with every visit

I purchased a writing table online at homedepot.com. The table arrived and I unpacked it and looked at the directions. I’m a senior citizen and have some issues with arthritis so it looks like a very daunting task. I called homedepot.com and they connected me with a staff member at the local store in Vallejo Named Marissa. She took the ball and got it rolling so within 24 hours The table was assembled for me at the store. All I had to do was bring the parts there and she got it done for me and she kept in touch with me by phone every step of the way. I couldn’t believe what great service I got. This is similar to some service I got from this Home Depot in Vallejo years ago when I had trouble putting something together and I was a lot younger than I am now. I love this store.

The Manager, Vivian, was incredibly generous and donated bags of river stones, paint-sticks a $50 gift certificate to our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion non-profit for a “Kindness Rocks” project with our students who run a Kindness Club at the school and wanted to do something in honor of National Kindness Week in November to combat bullying and raise awareness about the power of uplifting & positive words in our school community. The Vallejo Home Depot team is so lucky to have a generous and community-oriented leader like Ms. Vivian on their team-we are ever so grateful! Also, the person who helped me with the paint sticks I believe was names Montalvo/Monty and when I told them what we were using the paint sticks for, he told me: Thank you for being “the light”. I thought that was so special for them to recognize the project we wanted to do with our students and uplift our community. Thank you, Vallejo Home Depot Team!

good experience. good workers

Pro experts are the best in Vallejo. They have helped me with plumbing, paint and many other complicated projects. They are a great crew and deserve more credit than you give them. On the other hand, your app for this store sucks and shows racial bias.

I ran into the store this afternoon trying to match ten year old paint for a hallway. The clerk there (Mykala?) was extremely accommodating and helped me find a couple of samples that might match the paint. She also made up some samples for me to take and try out. She was thoughtful enough to put them in a box. She really went the extra mile for me. I hope this reaches her; not enough positive feedback is out there. She deserves much recognition!

I bought a new refrigerator a month ago. I had a great experience even though I was stressed out thinking about having to make such a large purchase on my own. But the employee was great and very helpful. I’m happy with my purchase and relieved that I had such knowledge and friendly people to help. Thank you.

I bought a window and once it was installed it didn’t work and the track fell off. I had no problem returning the item and happy there was another one in stock.

Waited 20 mins for an associate to assist, after having the cashier page them twice and I got an upset employee that wasn’t much help

I had a gift card I wanted to use. The cashier found that it had a zero balance; I had never used it. I know she was busy, but she had nothing for me except a shrug. Surely there was something she could have offered, a phone number to call, perhaps, that would have helped me feel less like HD doesn't support its customers.

I bought a clogged drain product called Green Gobbler and it worked awesome.

I definitly visit at Home Depot if I need something for my house project.

Employees are easy to deal with

I bought carpet today and found the whole process from measuring to purchase to be very easy and reasonable. Susan in the carpet department made it an enjoyable experience.

I went to Building Materials and Lumber to get drywall and materials to patch up my kitchen wall. Loren of Lumber and Building Materials was a stellar DH stopping to help me and my Dad locate exactly what we needed!
