This experience was horrible because we were racially profiled as we exited the store. In the last 6 weeks, I’ve spent over $9000 at Home Depot for new home renovations. This is my first time visiting this store in Mueller, however this will be my last time. Literally, 8 other customers were walking out the store at the same time as us, but this employee named “Greg” chased us down, demanded only our family to show our receipt, & further humiliated me by addressing me as sir. I am disgusted!

Johnny was very helpful and got a ladder to carry down activated charcoal for me.

The rat infestation if beyond control they were literally in the racks in the green house looking at me from the tops and running around. I left from there with the bags that I had to sift through to make sure they didn’t have rodent holes in them. I went to the actual outside garden because I needed fertilizer as well. And obviously there were more rats there. So I had to sift through those bags also. By this time no telling what kind of contamination and diseases I had on my hands at this point. I go to look at the succulents and a big rat runs out from the bottom of the metal tables. I scream but there’s obviously no one around. Had I not need the items for the project I drove there for I would have just left. Very unfortunate and very disappointed.

The team at this store is glad to help you out. They don’t act like it’s a bother when you ask them basic questions. On multiple times, I’ve had store personnel walk me to a specific shelf location if I’m looking for a product. Bravo. Keep it up.

I bought some item month ago and it was really great experience

The store has a rats problem inside the greenhouse. The smell is very bad, and you can see the rats walking around. Seed packages are open and the manager did not care about complaining. It is a healthy issue for the customers and employees

I love this Home Depot at Mueller. The sales staff are always helpful and attentive. This is my go to spot for home improvement!

I was very unhappy with the customer service. Everyone seemed unresponsive or mean. I always feel a little uncomfortable b/c I am not knowledgeable on the products I am getting. This made it even worse.

Great product and mr Christian was great

I have bought good quality products and plants here. The people here try to be helpful. Sometimes an Extremely long walk is required to get to the physical area where the expert is. I must use a walker to walk myself to each place and my walker is not electric so this is sometimes a very big problem. Home Depot is blind to this kind of handicap discrimination but it could do better with a few golf carts in each store.

These 2 ladies went above and beyond to make my shopping experience a great 1 I will definitely come back and shop at the mueller location thanks to their upbeat personality their positive attitude and their knowledge of products. They both were able to assist me in getting my tax exempt information fixed

Being that I had just written a review for this location including issues with - friendliness, service, cleaniliness, and safety; I'm happy to say that today's visit was a great improvement. Still saw some safety concerns with staffing and forklift safety as before, but tbe friendliness and help from cashier Jolie made up for it. Keep moving forward HD.

I was very shocked that the employee in that area I was shopping was so knoweagble about my situation they even suggested I take a different route to fix my problem which ended up saving me money

Usually has everything I’m looking for and employees are very nice and helpful, centrally located which is a plus for me :)

Employees are super friendly. James and Zachary were very helpful with my backyard needs. Store is kept very clean and they have a ton of inventory.

The employees in this store are knowledgeable and helpful. John and Ashley both went above and beyond to make sure a quick project remained quick. I had to come back to the store because I didn’t have the right tool and they went above and beyond to make sure I was back out before closing set for success. Thank you both!

Austin Mueller (store #6892) in my opinion, is the best Home Depot store in Austin. Great store, great products, great staff. A 5 star for sure!

The store staff is always friendly but today Christi and De’Lisha are who stood out. They went ABOVE and beyond to make me comfortable with my purchase. Christi assisted with helping me purchase the correct item. Thanks ladies

Had some issues with a product. And the manager was kind, professional and took care of the problem without questions.

the only store i can reach on bus. they store the shoping baskets and carts in the walkways and force handicaped to instead trundle through the active parking lot. often are out of the product I came for and won't have it brought from a store that it is in stock. I have to make a three hour bus trip or pay $20 for delivery. I'm elderly, autistic stroke survivor and y'all don't care.

Great prices and convenient access to everything.

Overall, the store was conveniently located and clean. I was able to locate items I needed to finish my project. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'm like a kid in a candy store when at Home Depot! Plenty of stock (lumber, tools, etc). Only downside was parking when I stopped by on a Saturday. Place was very busy and parking was a challenge!

While the store is neat and well stocked the checkout process is ridicules with the store employee that is supposed to direct the next person in line to the self checkout allowing people to cut in line and just walk up to the check out while others are in line waiting. This are the kind of things that happen when you decide people at checkouts are irrelevant. I don't mind self check outs but a system to make them work needs to be in place. You need to funnel people into them not allow direct access.

Parking is sometimes difficult, but the staff of all the Home Depot‘s that I shop at in Austin appear to be very well trained and there is a culture of just wanting to do a great job even though after quizzing employees, that is not specifically trained. I am very impressed with the culture that Home Depot has managed to create among their employees.

This review is about a month late but the story goes like this: I was having car issues and found out I needed to switch out my spark plugs. Thus, I bought the tools and new spark plugs needed at an auto shop and decided to fix it myself. Unfortunately, I was still missing a wrench so I decided to go to Home Depot where I noticed their tool rental shop. I told one of the employees my issue and he said to pull up my car towards the front where they were going to take a look at the specific wrench needed to switch out my spark plugs. I told them this was my first time doing this and Wayne introduced himself and found the right sized wrench for me to switch out the plugs. What was unexpected was Wayne offered to switch them out free of charge. I have never had such amazing customer service like this before. Wayne completely went out of his way to do me a huge favor. All I had to do was hand him the new parts I ordered from before. My car now works good as new. I am so thankful for an employee to take time out of his shift to switch out my spark plugs free of charge and when I offered a tip, he politely declined. That's customer service! Thanks Wayne!

All in all the store is a good one to shop at always plenty of employees there willing to help out
