Having to use self checkout is not customer positive experience for me. in fact the line to do so was at least 15 minutes long. it seems after 5pm the store basically manned by people stocking and not really there to help the customer several of the sale item i came in for were just never at this store and the store that did have them was across town.

When you need help they are ready to help you and they are polite.

Store look clean and organized and prices were reasonable!

Gary in lumber provided the best customer service I’ve ever received from a business. Thank him and give him a promotion and pay raise!

I went to the paint desk the other day and Patrick gave me expert advice and an exact color match. This will save me time, money and I will be happy to shop at this store going forward!

I work for a tiny home builder. I am responsible for purchasing all the items to build the tiny homes. With the current supply chain issues it can be challenging to obtain product. The Pro Team lead by Jacob is very helpful and happy to assist in ordering difficutl to obtain items, set up delivery and they go out of their way to keep me informed of upcoming deliveries. I rely on my Pro Team to help me every week.

Love coming to this location, employees are friendly and the store is clean and well organized

Employee in electrical department was very helpful

Had a difficult time finding storage boxes and trying to get help but when it was time to check out, this store really shined. Thanks to a cashier named Monica up front she was quick to handle the lines and made the check out experience fast and fun.

Gabriel came to my assistance a few minutes after I showed up at the Appliances section. I gave him my criteria for a refrigerator and we went shopping. He showed me several choices that were about right and I almost settled for one that met most of my needs. Most salespeople would have rushed me to sign on the dotted line. Gabriel, however, asked me if I was going to be totally happy with this choice. After thinking a minute, I determined that I would not. We looked a little bit more and found my perfect refrigerator. To add to this, once I went home and look at my choice, I realized that I hadn't picked the correct color. I called Gabriel. He had me come back into the store and in a matter of minutes, we had a new order in place with my corrected color. Gabriel went above and beyond what most salespeople would have done and was a joy to work with.

I love it when i check out at this place the ladies at the front are always helpfull especially the one thats short and has curly hair always has a smile on her face and a positive additude she actually helped me create an account and set up my military on my phone as busy as you guys get she took the time to help me I appreciate her so much because I asked other people to help and they just told me they can't they are busy at the moment but not her I believe her name was Monica I really appreciate her and her time.

All employees here seem bothered you had the nerve to show up to their job and ask for assistance.

We approached two employees while in search of a 100 foot extension cord. Both employees ignored our question, the first actually walked away and answered a phone call as she walked away.

I was at your store about a week ago and right when I walk in she acknowledges me By welcoming me in with an amazing smile and when I'm done shopping she stops whatever she is doing to help me checkout my items she was soo nice and supper funny.

I went to Avondale Home Depot to order a fire pit and the staff at Customer Service were A#1! If all departments in other stores operated this efficiently and courteously . . . society would be a much friendlier, happier place! Kudos to Home Depot Avondale.

We ordered flooring from Anna in flooring dept about a month ago. I had a medical problem come up recently and my wife and I decided it was not a good time to have our floors done. We went back to the store and explained to Anna what was going on she said you guys go ahead and go home I will take care of everything for the refund. By the time we got home we had an email with the refund credit to our card. I can not say enough about Anna she is a 5 star employee. Thank you Anna

You can rely on employees knowing where everything is at this location. The shelves are always well stocked and I never have issues finding exactly what I need here! My service dogs and I love to spend an afternoon browsing their big selection and deals!

We have been shopping at the Avondale Home Depot since it was opened, they have never failed to fill our shopping needs!

Karen at the garden register sarcastically said No when I asked her if she was open for checkout as it was right before 8am as I was hauling a Heavy cart of 6 garden soil bags. I told her I would go checkout inside then and she said “no, of course I am open” I was so shocked to be treated that way. I never go in that early and didn’t know what time that side opens. She then made it clear 4 times that she opens at 8 there. when obviously it was a couple minutes before that’s why I asked. I didn’t need to be treated that way. I never even got offered help to load my heavy bags. Anyone could see it was hard for me to pull. I can see this lady really hates her job. What a horrible way to start the day.

There was a child screaming and crying lied on the floor while I was checking out in the garden center and no one address it

I could find an item I was seeking, and when I did, the salesman offered a better opinion of what I needed to complete my project

Rylie lied about being an Assistant Manager. She did not know how to process a refund to Pro Account and embarrassed me like I was a thief. Learn how to do your job before you try to claim you are an Assistant Store Manager! Train your employees how to take care of Pros on the weekends!! And train Rylie how to be professional if she wants to really be a Manager

I received significantly more help from this Home Depot stores than most other stores i visit. I am constructing a small storage building at the non-profit school we own. Brenda and Wanda in the Pro Center were extremely helpful in taking my order and then making sure everything was ready to go when I picked it up. They were very special in the way they helped me.
