Store mismanaged, go to Central Islip instead
This store is highly mismanaged. For a overall better customer experience and help visit the Levittown Home Depot or The Central Islip Home Depot, it’s worth the extra 10 minute drive. Lumber department is a mess nothing is labeled or in the write place the pic shows multiple pieces of plywood pulled out before getting to the correct priced piece.

                      I was experiencing difficulties finding products. Home Depot Team member Hal noticed my plight. He introduced himself and asked how he help.                         Need better checkout options
                        Since I am not a fan of self checkout, your store really needs better cashiers, without the annoyed attitude when they actually have to work. Notice a definite lack of supervision. Why are employees down the isles on cell phones when they are clearly not helping a customer????

                              Wonderful Employee
                              As I struggled to find the christmas tree I came looking for, a young girl who was working came to help me. She tried hard but could not locate what I was looking for. It said two were in stock so she kept looking. After no luck I decided on a different tree. She helped me get it into the cart and apologized for not being able to find what I originally came for. She was kind and very helpful.

                                Don’t rely on the quantities listed on the website
                                Website showed they were 37 pieces available. Got to the store and they didn’t have any. Complete waste of time.

                                  I had the opportunity to be greeted and assisted by an associate by the name of Lorri! She restored my faith in great customer service! In today world good customer service is hard to find. Great customer service is almost nonexistent! Lorri went above and beyond! Thank you Lorri! You the best!!

                                            I purchased a toilet bowl which was to be delivered. I received an e mail saying my item will be out for delivery on the scheduled date and a follow up e mail would follow with a 4 hr delivery window. Never received that e mail and when I received a message that I missed the delivery ( I was home and no delivery was attempted) I called the Bayshore store and was lucky enough to speak to Jaden. He solved the issues and I received my item as promised. Jaden went above and beyond to get my problem solved. By the way the delivery person ( not home depot) was the problem

                                                Customer service Bay shore NY
                                                I wrote everything in my previous survey . Your customer service in Bayshore NY stinks hire people move people from an adjacent store do something there . I went to Bayshore yesterday and when the self check out machine would not scan the battle code on my spray paint I had to find a register with a person . Guess what I found one open in lumber that was it . That’s pretty pathetic.

                                                    Good workers
                                                    I must say that when I walked in I felt pretty lost as to who I can ask to help me out, seemed like everyone was too busy to have a conversation, but I bumped into Nestor and he went above and beyond to help me find the items I needed and unlock the locker so I could purchase my tools, and Sean B at the register seemed to be having a tough day and the 3 of us were able to toss a couple of jokes and made the best of the whole situation. These guys were some real hero’s.

Nestor did everything to make sure the customers expectations were met and exceeded that will politeness and respect!                                                             Store is good but manager needs customer service training
                                                            I can typically find what I need and the store is usually organized, however my last visit there was quite frustrating. While attempting to use a valid coupon (which I never used) the manager essentially said "its a one time use coupon" and dismissed my claim. 1) It was never used 2) This isnt the first time a coupon has not worked from Home Depot, after reading the fine print there was nothing stated which would have restricted the use of the particular coupon which was presented 3) Jim should come out and talk with a customer instead of having an assistant manager discuss the matter. While things are generally in stock, it does not help when things are locked up with no one to unlock them for purchase. While I understand that certain high value items are targets for theft, I dont understand why all those items are not just kept at the front for check out. Here is a walk through of trying to buy 12 gauge electrical wire. 1) Find someone who working in the department 2) They get paged 3) Wait around for someone to come 4) Immediately get escorted to the front for purchase 5) If you need to get additional things they put it to the side at one of the cashiers register. When you go to pay, have to wait for the exact person the cable was dropped off to. Heaven forbid that person went to lunch. The whole process is ridiculous. Even thermostat cable which is $20 is locked up.
