It's fine to return the tools early if you complete your project sooner than predicted, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any mud or dirt from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Rent a box truck, cargo van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you'll need to return it to the same store where you rented it. Yes, please fill up the truck before you bring it back. Note the fuel level when you receive the truck, and fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Large equipment or select tools also require ID verification via CLEAR.
