I went to Home Depot in Brooklyn 3rd Ave just to purchase two items that my kitchen contractor told me to buy: 12”x24” grey floor tiles and a grey hue grout. I thought it’d just be a 10-15 minutes shop yet it turned out that I circled around the floor sections a few times and still couldn’t locate my items. I tried to ask a friend young man who might be able to help me. He said he didn’t work at the floor section yet he’s willing to check it out. He searched my desired stuff and walked me down the aisles and checked it one by one. He even helped me to put the heavy tiles in the cart and tried to locate the right color of grout for me. I have to say without his help, I might spend another hour in the store and still can’t find the right items. Thumbs up for Stefon’s warm smiles and earnest work attitude! Home Depot got the good employees at the store!

I am super happy about the plant selection at this shop. Also the workers here are kind and understanding, I will definitely be coming back soon and recommending to all my family and friends!

I visited this location to find a project drill bit specifically to pass through a metal frame of my door at home. The package was labeled perfectly and I was able to complete my job. Thanks Home Depot!

I needed a variety of things and the salespeople were so unbelievable attentive and helpful. Honestly it was the first time that I have had an experience like that in a super store for building supplies in the past 20 years.

This is my 3 visit since the HD reopened at the Brooklyn FH location (Gowanus). The staff is very inviting and competent and when they are available, are very customer attentive. The place is easy to navigate and I find the products and pricing very competitive. The return policy is excellent. Self serve is also very efficient and quick.

bad service long wait time

I bought an Ice machine From Home Depot dot com and had it delivered to this location and John ! Oh John hope they give you your flowers man ! He talked me through the process of installing it without even having to do so ! He went above and beyond and even searched a water pump I need for excess water. Wrote down the information so I can have it in case I need to order it because he knew ahead of time Home Depot doesn’t carry it in store.

Home Depot has been my favorite store to purchase all of my household products, outdoor furniture and accessories plants and gardening supplies. I visit Home Depot often and am always impressed with the stores cleanliness, product selection and quality of their products. The staff’s willingness to help with questions and assistance is remarkable and the salespeople have a professional demeanor, pleasant personality and knowledge of their business is phenomenal. Thank you for the opportunity to share my personal experiences with others.

The management at the Brooklyn Home Depot on Huntington clearly has NO concept of respect. The parking lot is like a GARBAGE PIT with old coffee cubs, cardboard and trash every where. It’s DISGUSTING!

I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot, which offers third-party insurance through Allstate. Unfortunately, my experience has been terrible. For the past three months, I haven't been able to get my dishwasher repaired. I would not suggest anyone consider buying products or getting insurance from Home Depot in the future. I'm extremely disappointed.

The app is useless. The place is a mess. They don't have the inventory they say they do on the app.

It has always been a tradition for our Family to buy our Christmas Tree from HD Hamilton Ave., Brooklyn. Every year HD provided a kiosk outside where you could buy your tree and wreath, trim and net your tree, and a Staff member would help load your tree onto the car. This year, after re-opening HD Hamilton Ave made you pick a tree, no Staff assistance, go inside with your tree tag & wreath, wait in an understaffed register line, then take your receipt back outside (Where you lost your place in line), show the Staff your receipt and trim & net the tree. This is terrible business practice by management at Christmas time. What happened to Customer Service?! Christmas Tree Fail HD - Shame!!!

Line too long, had to wait. This place is now as slow as the Bed Stuy location.

I ultimately purchased new fridge after long decision making process. I was assisted by Marco in the Hamilton Ave, Brooklyn store. He was courteous, professional, friendly and assisted in setting my mind at ease after a negative experience at another store ( not Home Depot) I had specific delivery concerns that Marco helped alleviate. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the entire delivery process and what to expect. I walked away having peace of mind at having made a good decision, being treated as a human and not just a "sale." Thank you Marco and Home Depot Hamilton Ave.

They are trying to cut corners and save money by making it only self check out. But it's this weird hybrid self check out where the employees still scan it for u. They did this bc they were getting robbed. Just hire cashiers. Normal cashiers. This is a disaster.

Store was closed for a few months and the old adage "you dont know what you have till it's gone" is most definitely true. I was back the first week they reopened and the customer service and friendliness is fantastic.

The staff here is wonderful! They took a bad situation and turned it around. I had an online order that wasn’t being delivered when I needed it, and the staff in Brooklyn got it solved quickly! Great team!!

This store reopened after a parking lot collapse have lost a lot of their original good employees where these new ones are princess like over paid customer repellents. Locking up the bathroom and no one anywhere to find to open the door.

I would it recommend anyone to go to this store. The employees have nasty attitudes, rude, and is not willing to help.

i was getting tired and about to leave when I asked an employee for help and he helped me find the items that I needed and was also knowledgeable.

Some of the employees helpfulness are a hit or miss but David from the wood dept is a definite hit! He is truly a asset to Home Depot!

I went here to buy as number of items and had questions of which to purchase and a store Manager assisted me every step of the way. Great experience and store was well-lit, well-stocked, and neat.

The service that I received was excellent. Walking in with just a sample of what I needed and no clue how to get it, I left happy and very pleased with the service that I received.

The Hamilton Avenue Brooklyn, NY store is big. It has a variety of items. One can park in the store's covered parking lot. If an item will not fit in one's car there is truck rental available. Self service and cashier checkouts are both available. Checkout can be quick. One can have an enjoyable shopping experience at this store.

I was assisted by an associate named Simone and she took her time to assist me all the way through to purchase. Appreciate the fact that she answered everyone one of my questions and didn’t rush me.

We ordered an ac unit online to the store. The wrong model was shipped. We realized and the store employee refunded us write away on a store card and were able to leave home depot with the ac we wanted.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Cassius at Home Depot. He provided excellent customer service and was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me find the perfect item I needed. He provided me with great advice and was very patient with me as I looked through all the items. He was very friendly and had a great attitude. I could tell he really cared about helping me and doing his job well. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend Cassius and Home Depot to anyone looking for great customer service and a wide selection of items.
