Terrible Customer Service
Store wasn't busy yet after asking an employee for assistance in cutting a piece of lumber, I waited over 15 minutes at the cutting station while the associate who was told to help me, Rigo, ignored me and continued working on a closed off section. I was on the same aisle in eyesight. He finished what he was doing walked around and did something else, all while I was obviously waiting with my disabled father. If he didn't want to help me, he could have communicated or delegated so I didn't wait so long. I asked someone else for help and eventually got the piece cut by another associate which took less than a minute to do. Went straight to checkout and found the first employee who was told to help me, Rigo, chit chatting with another employee, Charity, and doing nothing. Not sure how talking about hair is helpful. There should be better customer service, communication, and delegation. Ps- also saw a cockroach in the lumber section.

            Flowers
            A great selection of flowers. The clerk over charged me counting a single item as six items. So a count of en at 2.98 cost 131.00 when it should have been 29.90.. I returned to store and received refund immediately.

              Apparently some Cedar Hill HD customers do not remember their own email address
              I have never visited or bought anything at the Cedar Hill HD, yet I received a survey request. My only explanation is that a customer entered my email address. Hopefully they have better luck using the product they purchased than they did in entering their email.

                I stood at the paint desk for 30 minutes while employees stood behind me and walked by never asking if I needed assistance or even calling for someone to assist. When I finally got some assistance it was from a kid who looked not a day older than 16 and obviously had no idea what he was doing. I asked him to darken the red in a pre purchased 5 gallon bucket of paint. It ended up coming out a lighter tint of red than when he started.

                  Still waiting for my Roman shades
                  I ordered Roman shades from Home Depot in November and was told they were arrive Jan 2-4. They didn’t come. I have been told multiple times they were coming, were shipped or would be here this day. Plainly lied to. They said I could not cancel. Had to make payment on them. I am beyond frustrated. No one seems to care much. I am new to Cedar Hill and can’t believe the total lack of caring for their customers. Nobody who can actually help me or cares enough to follow thru. I have to keep calling and going there as they say they will let me know, then don’t. My Home Depots in Michigan were great…..not Cedsr Hill.

                    Nie and Elvis are the team members you want helping you, keep your eyes out for these two if you need help while at this store cause they are the bomb. The rest of the store could watch them and learn a thing or two about a thing or two especially the non-existent management staff!!!!!

                      Convenient store for Cedar Hill shoppers
                      The Cedar Hill store is very convenient for most Cedar Hill shoppers. But it is also the only home warehouse store that is relatively close by. I have shopped at the Cedar Hill store since it first opened in Cedar Hill. My impression over time is that the quality of customer service has notably diminished, with some exceptions. There are certain associates who go out of their way to help the customer and most of these folks have been there for some time. They seem to be the exception rather than the rule. The self-serve checkout is, of course, a cost-savings for store operations. Sometimes it works well. But other times self checkout stations are closed while longer lines develop for the stations that are open. This may be due to there being only one or two associates monitoring the self checkout stations. A more rapid surge capability to open up additional stations would be appreciated when you are having to wait in line for 5-10 minutes. Most customers want to purchase their items and complete their store visit as soon as possible. I have also commented in the past on the background music played in the store. I find it too loud and distracting most of the time, but that is admittedly a matter of personal preference. Background music should remain in the background, not overwhelming you like you were at a rock concert.

                          Oil Stained Concrete Project
                          I went into the store looking for a remedy for severely oil stained concrete and was assisted by Mr. Larry. He was very knowledgeable and his suggestions gave me the results I desired. Thank You again Mr. Larry for your help!

                            Irrigation System Part Supplies and Assistance
                            Rain Bird, Orbit and others - Multiple options for your sprinkler system are available. If it weren't for my mower, the sprinkler heads would have had a longer life. My visit was quick, successful and staff were helpful at the checkout station. The Cedar Hill, TX, store is a favorite that I frequent often for household supplies, lawn and garden care, and repair projects. Some disorganization in the parts bins, which is due to carelessness of previous customers.

                              Worst customer service in Dallas area Home Depot’s
                              Management does not have the skill to oversee employees and provide good customer service. This store is a prime example of a non committed store manager or most likely unqualified manager, which clearly reflects on the employees and customers.

                                Welcome to Cedar Hill, Tx Home Depot, how CAN I help you?
                                Over the last year I have been studying 24/7 for a medical training Exam, and working double shifts in surgery, while also attempting to do home and plumbing repairs in two houses in various states. Visiting the Cedar Hill, Tx Home Depot, I recently attempted to return several items I purchased 3 months back, for return or store credit. Though the items were stocked year round and in their original factory sealed packaging, the first manager I dealt with stance was unsympathetically “the products are pass the 90 day return policy so there’s nothing I can do.” Feeling very frustrated because the items were very expensive, I went home. The next day I returned again hoping to at least exchange one of the item that I did actually need but in a different finish. Asking for the store manager again, I was greeted by Caesar. He was very kind and patient as I explained my predicament. Caesar’s response was “well I can’t make any promises, but let’s see what we CAN do”. For some reason, Caesar WAS able to do a store credit for some items, even exchange for another and a modest discount to try to help me make even. In the end HD was able to re-shelf all items which were still in their original factory sealed packaging and I was able to leave satisfied, even spending @ $70 more. Also, while shopping, I was greeted by Larry Rice who was amazing in helping me to pick out a RING camera. And because Caesar was not near as I was completing my transaction, the manager walking pass to sign for it was the original manager who was adamant about there being nothing she could do. I would also like to acknowledged my very pleasant encounters with Nigeria Austin, Madison on register and Robin Wallington. I am an absolutely devoted Home Depot shopper in Cedar Hill, Tx, Lafayette La, and New Orleans, La where I also own a home. While another company’s employees always seem to be in hiding, most of Home Depot employees attitudes are “how can I help you “ or “let me find someone who CAN help you”!

                                    Sometimes disappointing not always though
                                    I am somewhat handicapped and it’s frustrating when electric carts are not working or quit working while in the store. That makes it rather difficult for me at times. Occasionally will get exceptionally great help from associates when we can’t locate an item we are looking for. Overall it is generally a good experience. Stock does seem to be low or out completely even though website says they have multiple items available- that’s not always true and we go to particular store for that reason. It is also very close to our home even though we don’t live in Cedar Hill. To sum it up it’s worth checking this location out for your needs.

                                      LAWNMOWER
                                      We purchased a lawn mower from home depot. The lawn mower hasn't ran, but twice since we had it the only reason it ran the second time is because we took it back and the guy that works in the shop did something to it to get it to start working. I've contacted the company I've contacted home depot. Nobody wants to take responsibility for non-working product It's still under warranty and the manufacturer won't do anything for us and home depot won't let us swap out the lawn mower for a new one, so we have a brand new lawn mower that's only ran twice. That's not being used that we're still paying for. Do not buy a yard next. They don't honor their warranties and home depot will not do an exchange. Even if we wanted to we wouldn't want another yard max. Their customer service is not good at all. They wanted to say it was the. Carburetor right off the top they know there Problem with their corburators.They offered to give us $25.00 dollars toward a new carburetor They know that they have issue with the carburetor It's like they're selling defective products. And home depot is putting a stamp of approval on it by not helping us with this issue. This was worst purchase. I've ever bought from home depot. Someone needs to honor their responsibility and either give us another alarm or refund us our money back.

                                        I bought a lawnmower that never worked took it back exchange it for another one and that one don’t work now I’m stuck with a lawn more than I pay for and it doesn’t work and now I cannot get a refund or change very unhappy

                                          The garden center at the Cedar Hill HD is embarrassing! Soooo many dead plants. The entrance/exit to this garden center is also a joke. Small, inefficient, crowded, difficult to pass through. Employees are out in the elements all shift. They are not using the climate controlled shack that they built last year. Shame on them!

                                            Wow. Worst home depot I've ever been in. Asked for help from 6 different employees, Nothing. Had a manager called, after 30 minutes No manager. Probably over 1/4 of items have no price either.

                                                    Today I went in the store with questions on how I am going to figure my plumbing problem. Danny came up to me and asked how can I help you and took my issue and solved it. He did not just point to the item and walk away, he stayed and made sure I knew what to do and how to do it.
