Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you offer large moving boxes?

Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with snowstorms, thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What home repairs should I make sooner rather than later?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could headed for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be replaced if they're damaged.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
