We went in looking for a refrigerator to replace ours. Rachael showed us several options an went over the warranty options thoroughly. She took her time with us and wasn't impatient. She made our new purchase easy and informed. We love our new refrigerator!

The store was close to closing and Dan went out of his way to help me find “E-Z Fuse tape”. This tape has literally saved me hundreds of dollars on repairs. Don’t ever get rid of this product and don’t ever get rid of Dan. He went above and beyond. Thanks Dan! And thanks Ashley for suggesting I fill out this survey for Dan to get a gold star.

Yesterday I had one of the worst shopping experiences of my life at a Home Depot store. I went to your store to purchase a Premium Steel Exterior Entrance Door. 1st problem, I could not find ANYBODY in this Department to assist me in finding the door that I needed, 2nd, after I located the door I wanted to purchase, I could not find ANYBODY to assist me in loading in a cart to haul to the checkout. I have had 2 back surgery's, am NOT supposed to be lifting ANYTHING over 25 #'s & I am 72 years old. After looking around for 20 minutes to locate somebody to assist me, I proceeded to load the door on a cart by MYSELF & pushed it up to the checkout. When the cashier scanned the door for me to purchase, I told her I would need assistance loading it in my pickup. She said no problem & called for loading assistance to the checkout. She told me to go get my pickup & park by exit door so when assistance came I would be ready for them to assist me with loading the door in my truck. 35 minutes later, I was still waiting for assistance. I proceeded to load the door in my truck by MYSELF. I consider this to be unacceptable from Home Depot. I have been shopping at Home Depot for over 30 years but today will probably be the last time I ever shop at Home Depot. I always considered Home Depot to be the Cadilac of the Home Improvement business, but I no longer believe that. Thank you very much for taking the time to read my email. I hope you use it to improve your Council Bluffs, Iowa store.

I go your store 2 times a month and ALL employees are very helpful in helping me find what I need.

We walked around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to return eye contact....no luck there. We cornered an employee, we knew what we wanted, (replace an old over the stove microwave, so they wrote it up. I paid an additional 179 dollar fee for installation. I'm 75, I don't do that stuff anymore. The delivery guys showed up qand brought the new one in. Lead guy measured and told me he can't install it, the backsplash is 3/8ths of an inch too high. The specs between old and new are identical, it'll work. I offered to remove the lip of backsplash, 20 minutes tops. He said he had a full day, put the microwave back in the box. "So what do I do?" I ask. He shrugs and says "I don't care", and walks out the door. My grandson helped me install it. Home Depot did refund my installation fee.

I came in looking for specific plumbing products, and was able to find them all. I've always had pretty swell experiences at this particular Home Depot location, and this trip was no different. Keep doing what you've been doing.

Bought a “new” Milwaukee miter saw. Drove over an hour to job site to open my “new” saw to only find empty box with a residential propane tank in it. No saw to be found and no battery. So not only did I loose time and money I don’t have a saw and it’s really unfortunate to know that when buying “new” items that in fact they are returns. If you’re lucky to even get the item you purchased. Disappointing

I went in for an appliance cord & was greeted by 2 employees before I was in the door & I was asked if I needed any assistance. Customer service is so important to Home Depot! Love going in there for all my needs.

I have never had to wait or search around for someone to help me. I appreciate that.

The wife and I decided to buy a Traeger and as we approached them an employee asked if we had any questions. And we did. He helped us figure out what we wanted and the accessories we needed. Then he brought the Traeger to checkout, summoned another employee to assist in getting my discounts, then summoned another employee to help load the Traeger into my pickup. All this took at least 30 minutes. It just made the purchase so enjoyable. Thank you for all your help.

Customers don't work for you, stop being cheap and hire cashiers

Home Depot had just what we needed and their salesman and cashier were the best we've had!!

We found the bedding plants we couldn’t find elsewhere, and also bought 2 herbs because of great price and perfect quality. Max was an exceptional employee at check out, and we left with a smile and positive impressions of our local store.

Sterling was beyond exceptional in helping me with a do-it-yourself project for my home.

I purchased new Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Detectors and the options were more than I had seen in any other store. I found the same circumstances when I purchased plumbing products.

I entered the Council Bluffs, IA store and was greeted, then proceeded to look for screen doors. I noticed an employee and asked where the doors were located. He took me to them while finding the associate for doors. The friendly associate, Sterling Dedic, answered all my questions. I bought the door and was on my way in just a few minutes. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Enjoyed the fact that associates were easy to locate and eager to help. Needed carpeting, got exactly what I wanted at a great price.

Came to Home Depot to purchase a riding mower. After purchase the cashier asked the manager if he could help to unlock the mower for us. He said, “yeah, when I have time!” And walked the other direction towards the back of the store. When he came outside he said, “sorry folks very busy.” Other associates came out to help and when I requested a specific mower they all scoffed but obliged. My husband asked them to raise the mower deck before loading, they pushed up the trailer with the deck all the way lowered anyway. Rude service, beginning with the manager interaction. Leadership is important and it’s apparent that isn’t taking place here.

I was sent by work to resolve an issue. I couldn't find what I needed , so a lovely lady in Customer Services personally walked me to the items I requested, then upon checkout, I was having issues with my company expense card and was getting frustrated and about to use my personal card and hope to be reimbursed, a delightful young lady sensed my dismay and asked if she could try running it again, and she found the issue and saved me from the hassle and inconvenience of the reimbursement process. I will absolutely recommend this Home Depot #2109 to anyone. This is the cleanest, most well stocked HD I have ever been to. Impressive all the way around.
