I use the Home Depot in Dale City for all my home improvement purchases. I returned a griddle that I had purchased online. While I was in the store I was taken care of by Katie Argueta, she was so patient and kind that I had to mention her. She is truly an asset to Home Depot,

Maurice at this store directed me to choose the appropriate foam to seal the cracks in the kitchen base cabinets! Highly recommend this store for their knowledge base!

Young man making keys had no customer service skills at all. I asked him to make keys for me and he walked away not saying anything. So I followed him. He never said anything else.

There are now locks on the bathroom doors? No, employees can't just give you the code - you have to be babysat during your time in there. I don't want to be treated like a thief by a place that wants my money.

I purchased a lawnmower from the Dale City Home Depot yesterday and it did not perform as expected. The self propelled power was barely noticeable and it felt like using a regular push mower. Since I just purchased it I returned it to the store to buy a better mower that cost about $120 more. The manager, Mike, (refused to provide his last name) said he can't take it back because it had obviously been used and it needs to be in new condition. I told him I just bought it yesterday and I just wanted to return it so I can buy a better mower. Then he asked me to take it someplace to clean it, cipher the gas and oil out then he could take it back. That's when the conversation turned into an argument. After going back and forth with me, he finally rolled the mower someplace in the store to clean it and refunded my money. I wish I could say my experience was pleasant but Mike, the manager, made a simple return way more difficult than it should be. I don't understand treating loyal customers this way who have invested over $150k in the Home Depot brand over cleaning a return item and repurchase. Mike as a manager should know better and I know Home Depot does not approve how he handled that return. One customer who witnessed the entire transaction suggested I go to another hardware store. Maybe the next time I will take my business elsewhere.

We visit the store every week. We are extremely satisfied wvery time we go.

I was there twice on 3/23 and 3/36 and was helped by Karelton Davis. He is not only kind, knowledgeable, pleasant but he always helps you with a smile. What I could do you -when something is not available just stuck on my mind. Home Depot is so lucky to have him and should really consider promoting him into a higher position. I just had a WOW experience with him and can't thank Home Depot enough for hiring employees like Karelton Davis the Dale City Home Depot. I have shopped at the Dale City location for over 17 years and never had an experience such as this and can't thank Home Depot enough for having employees like Karelton Davis! We had a difficult return, but Miguel, in Customer Service, helped us resolve the issue. He spent a great deal of time helping us locate our order to process the return. I can’t say enough about his kindness and patience.

I had a great experience working with Ebony Little in the Woodbridge location. She knows her stuff, has a fabulous attitude, makes suggestions but in no way pushy. What started out as a floundering mess was quickly resolved with hwe assistance.

My recent visit to the Woodbridge store left me disheartened due to a customer service experience that fell short of expectations. I approached the customer service desk seeking a simple price adjustment with a 10% coupon, and despite my willingness to return and repurchase the items, my issue was quickly dismissed. The impression was that they thought I did not know what I was doing, which was disconcerting. As a loyal Home Depot customer, this experience was disappointing, and I hope for improved understanding and responsiveness in the future. Note to the store manager: Not everyone is trying to rip off the store.

I didn’t like what was at the store so Tracy looked on the computer and found what I wanted, she then ordered them for me. She was so helpful and friendly really enjoyed working with her.

Self Service could not have taken more time for a disabled person if they had TRIED!!!!

It is so incredibly refreshing to have the associates eager to help customers, being professionals, knowledgeable in their fields, friendly and approachable. When they genuinely look like they enjoy their jobs, the day, and working there, it is very appreciated and makes customers want to return.

Past experience at the store has always been satisfactory with the availability of merchandise and the service of sales personnel. Shopping at this location always results in complete satisfaction.

Mike and Yolanda were very kind and helpful as we tried to locate a lawn mower. It was a bit of a wait, but they made sure to let us know what was going on as they got the mowers down from the pallet. They were helpful from start to finish!

Had a time trying to get a grill, no forklift drivers to be found. Went to customer service and met a sweetheart named Darnella. She made it happen in acceptable time frame. Stayed with me till it was loaded in my car. Nice lady, awesome customer service. The two Lot associates Brian and Victor were also extremely helpful. The grill was 250 pounds and they loaded it for us. So very helpful.

Usually well kept but 3/8/23 shopping in the store was a disaster

The manager and associates are the best I have dealt with in the years of shopping at Home Depot. I miss the former manage “Bill,” who never left you until you received what you were looking for…The new manager is like a stamp of her predecessor who always does everything needed to make the shopping experience exceptional.

Great cleaning supplies and help from staff

Sometimes when shopping at various stores, you end up feeling why am I here, due to employees that don’t act like employees, for example when ask where a certain item may be the answer is “ I don’t know” and that’s it. I wonder why are you even working here. But today at this Dale City Home Depot I felt like I was in good hands. Michelle really made me feel like finally someone who knows and care, it was that she heard me and responded. What a Day!

Julia in Appliances at the Dale City Home Depot is a true gem. Helpful, anytime we go there and she is always ready to help and save us money! She needs a raise and a promotion or something to recognize that she has been working so hard as if this was her own store.
