I only shop at Home Depot and never at Lowes. Why? Within seconds to a few minutes I always have access to a knowledgable store assistance without having to look all over the store for one. At Lowes I have to wander up and down aisle after aisle and eventually give up and go and stand in line at the customer service desk and then wait for them to call someone to help and twice they did not know the answer or Lowes did not have what I was looking for. Home Depot has always had what I needed and someone who knew exactly what I was talking about and helped me immensely. It is the ready availability of assistance and their amazing competence that keeps me a happy and loyal Home Depot customer. This is the only Home Depot store I have ever visited. I presume the others are equally good.

Store had all but one of the products I was looking for. In particular had a hard to find concrete product (one filled with fiberglass reinforcing). As opposed to what I had been used to in years past, all - yes, all - of the associates were helpful and knowledgeable, and several went out of their way to help me find what I needed. (I have seen a similar improvement in other Home Depot stores)

Home Depot personnel are attentive and most helpful!

WE RECEIVED GREAT HELP PICKING OUT A GRILL. THE STAFF HELPED US RENT THE VAN, LOAD THE GRILL AND A BUNCH OF MULCH. THEY WERE SO HELPFUL AND IT WAS A CRAZY SATURDAY.

Store was much better 6 months ago. Something must have changed since last fall.

At was very happy with the customer service help when needing assistance on purchasing my gas grill.

On a recent visit to the Danbury Home Depot to pick up a gas grill that was on-sale and purchased on-line Amanda and her management team went the extra mile to be sure I left happy after finding that the item I purchased was out of stock. They substituted a better grill at the sale price and made sure I was able to fit it in my car.

The Danbury store is dirty, products not neat on the shelves, poorly lit, and many associates very unfriendly and unhelpful.

This store is one of two in my area generally this is the one i go to.

First place I go when I need something for work or my home. From tools to bird seed.

Don helped me select the proper LED bulb for the exterior of my house. He was very nice and informative. Thanks Don!

We have lived in Danbury, Bethel, and New Fairfield over the years and have shopped at this store many times with great success in obtaining our needed items. If it wasn't currently available an associate would help us order it or find it in another store. I am more than satisfied with the service.

The store is very well organized and the staff is very helpful. They stayed with me until I picked up everything I needed.

My husband and I went to Home Depot to get a runner for our stairs. An associate was called to help us and Nathan N. was tremendous! He was courteous, knowledgeable, pleasant and made the entire trip a great experience. You could tell that he took pride in his work. He was fantastic! As an aside, JoJo called a couple of days later to finalize the transaction, and she, too, was wonderful. She was very friendly and funny! Two great experiences at Home Depot within 3 days!!!
