One of the employees noticed that I was looking over a temporary fence at some products and asked if I would like to go into the area. I did not even have to ask for help. He anticipated my needs! The cashier was also extremely pleasant and friendly. Great experience.

The store has wide clean clutter free isles which makes it easy to navigate. The paint isle needs more room around the counter. Customers seem to hang out with their whole family there.

the store is convenient and generally has what you can use, but not necessarily what you want - I often have to compromise on my selection due to the limited selection when I am not willing to travel to other locations or competitors.

Home Depot should use the Brea location to model other locations after- they excel in customer service and are genuine about it!

Alexander made it easy to make an exchange for my item. But when we found that none were actually available, she did not hesitate to offer a full refund. I'll be back to shop here because of her!

I had a long day searching for a 11 Foot Cantilever Outdoor Umbrella and I couldn't locate a HD with the HAMPTON BAY product in RED. The City of Industry location searched all the other stores inventory and said that EVERYONE was Out and it was on Back Order. After returning home and doing a quick search at HOMEDEPOT.COM, I sourced a 11 foot RED Cantilever Umbrella in BREA! I was skeptical, so I called and they said they had 5! NO WAY! So I drove down around 9:55 PM (Closing at 10 PM) and we got in but everyone was shutting down. Nonetheless, JAVIER & DREW assisted Me and My Wife to locate one. Unfortunately, most of the Cashiers and CS people left. But JAVIER stuck with Us and overcame and adapted to make it happen with the MARVELOUS SUPPORT of GREG RAIA, the Asst Mgr, who even honored my 1 Week Late HD 10% Discount. These guys made my Week! They could've run the Corporate routine "Sorry we're closed and we can't help You", but they were completely opposite and so VERY NICE ABOUT IT ALL! I love these Guys! Thank You HOME DEPOT for having such GREAT & COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE on Your Staff! I Really wanted this 11 ft - RED CANTILEVER UMBRELLA for My EXPECTING DAUGHTER & SON IN LAW'S visit next week to be Perfect and this Umbrella would put the perfect touch for this Occasion of being a 1st Time Grandparent! Thanks Again, GREG RAIA, JAVIER (Stuck By Us throughout the Process) & DREW! You are the Best Reflection that HD has to Offer!

I CAN ALWAYS FIND A STORE EMPLOYEE OR I CAN HAVE ONE PAGED FOR THE DEPARTMENT. THE EMPLOYEES IN THIS STORE HAVE ALWAYS HELPED ME SO MUCH, THAT I KNOW I HAVE SAVED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WITH THEIR HELP.

The guy in the paint department was very helpful and patient with us.

I went in to return something I had bought the day before. It was the quickest return I have ever done. I was on my lunch in a rush and it was quick!!! The cashier was nice and the store was very clean.

The guys in the lumber department, Drew and Alfaro were terrific. Very helpful.

Angie went above and beyond to help us consider sink and faucet decisions. Though only at the store for a few months, she's energetic and demonstrated a genuine concern for our project. She volunteered to check product availability at other stores and HD online. A real asset to us this evening.

I went into the store for a couple of items in plumbing, nobody was available near the section, finally found somebody in paint that called for customer service to plumbing but didn't want to take the time to help me find what I was looking for himself. After waiting over ten minutes for somebody to show, I decided to find somebody else, they also paged customer service to plumbing, but nobody showed again and he was to busy unloading boxes to help. Again after about 5 more minutes of waiting I asked him again, I've now heard them page somebody to plumbing about 5 or 6 times, and still nobody shows up. I hear them page for other departments and still nobody shows up. This store is the worst Home Depot I have ever been to, I do not recommend it and will never step foot inside it again.

Store location is so close to me, and the staffs are friendly and always get me the best idea and solutions.

Electrical dept stock was a mess. I was sent to cashier with wrong items. Box contained several items that did not belong in it.

Vance in electrical was great and got me the parts I needed. I got home and installed in 2 hours and it looks great.

Regina helped me out with a carpet cleaning machine. She took time to show me how to set up, use, and clean the machine. Regina made our trip wonderful!

I need assistance with a large rolled-up rug. I found a nearby associate, and she loaded it onto my flatbed, rang me up, and then had me drive to the front entrance and she loaded it into my car. I was in and out of there in a flash. VERY helpful!

I was extremely happy for the help I received in plumbing today, but i always have good experience with this store.

The Home Depot in Brea is ideally located for us and provides a very high level of assistance with any customer service needs. We are always greeted by friendly and helpful store associates there. We have never been disappointed with our experiences at this store.

I purchased a pack of AAA batteries & stopped by the Customer Appreciation booth that was set up across from the Pro Desk near the Pro cashier. I was asked by Patty if I wanted anything on the display table; I said that I would like to have the plastic Home Depot mug. She said that I needed to open a H.D. credit account. I explained that I already had one & that I shop at H.D. at least twice per week. She then stated that I didn't qualify. I then went to the counter to pay for the batteries and Pam, the cashier, asked if I had been to the customer appreciation booth and I told her what had transpired. She was appalled at what I told her and demanded that a mug be given to me. I thanked her and went on my way. I've known Pam these past few years that I've shopped at H.D. Brea and she has always been very professional and courteous. Pam is what is needed to make your business grow. Patty is what is not needed to make your business grow. By the way, I gave the mug to a homeless person along with some $ to buy a soft drink to take the bitterness taste out of the mug. J.J. Hernandez

There's always someone in sight or that approaches you if you need help with something. It's a nice store to have to go too, running out for something is always a pain but it's nice going to this store. I always end up looking at other things I may want someday.

I was looking for light bulbs and could find no help what so ever. I waited about 15 minutes then walked over to the service desk where I met Jackie. I let her know my frustrations and rather then passing me off to someone else she popped out of the desk and walked me right over to the bulbs I was looking for and even got me into an LED bulb which I am so happy I listened to her advise. She is an exceptional and friendly young lady. She even walked me back to the service desk and personally checked me out so I would not have to wait in line. I felt that I was treated with so much respect and compassion she is really a good for the Brea store,

I'm never disappointed with the products or service at the Brea, CA store. Would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking quality products at a competitive price.

Arrived with a vague notion of my goal, straight off I sought the help of the locals, my guide showed me to the many treasures that were needed to complete my task. With his help we scoured the halls and aisles for the components for my staff of power, advice was given to improve upon my original design to add versatility to my staff. Components and magics not before thought of were procured and combined to show their powers. Gold was exchanged and the wagons loaded. The journey fulfilled I set off to conquer new lands with staff in hand.

I came 10 mins to closing looking for fiberglass wire. Not only did an associate direct me to exactly where the item was they were so helpful and nice. It was my first time there and it was such an enjoyable experience.

Self check out is not for me. and as usual I had a problem. but Barb in that department helped me with a smile. This Store is the third one away from my home but I shall treturn there for my needs.

I went to Home Depot to buy a Carburetor Kit for an Echo GT 225 Grass Trimmer. Home Depot does not carry such an item. However, Vickie Reed,At-Home Services, was exceptional in helping me locate the proper vendor where I could purchase the above item. Vickie's unselfish time & effort should be recognized by Home Depot management; she didn't brush me off or say, " this is not my department". No, in fact, she went on the computer, phone, printed a manual, teamed up with George Orozco and continued to seek & search until I was satisfied. In the past Vickie has always greeted me on a first name basis "JJ" and consistently asked if she could help me. I've never given her the proper acknowledgement that I should have , "customer recognition". These words are written from my gratitude and appreciation of a Home Depot employee truly helping a customer in time of need.. J.J. Hernandez
