Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage or moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When shopping for generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
