Torrie went above and beyond to address my needs and I am so thankful to see the youths helping the elderly gracefully.

With the torrential rains, and more expected, I needed caulk and a scraper with pointed edges that was threaded to fit a long broom handle I had. No time to order online. Being old and feeble, I didn't want to be teetering on a ladder. I called around, no stores had anything like that. I went into Home Depot, where a friendly young woman led me straight to the spot where these tools were hanging, and showed me scrapers with no threads in sight. She pulled out the silver coin plugging the end of one, and there were the threads! They fit right onto the odd-sized broom handle I brought. I zoomed through checkout, being allowed to use cash in the credit machine. All in all, a happy experience. I was all caulked and ready in time for today's storm. Thanks to Aidan, Carol, and the helpful young woman whose name I didn't catch. We don't need AI automation when there are employees like these!

Not a single employee just pointed me in the direction I needed to go. I was taken, not directed to the product. Kudos to the manager for hiring GREAT employees.

I had a bad experience with the cashier, Sam Bam (that’s what her name tag showed). I had a valid receipt and was trying to do a return. Instead of providing options the cashier automatically asked for my debit card & I didn’t have it on hand. Then she mentioned a phony store policy that she couldn’t give me cash back or return it back to the original form of payment. She immediately called her manager & instead of explaining the full situation she summarized & omitted that I paid with a debit card. The manager didn’t bother to come to assist and only offered store credit. Typically, when you pay with a debit you get cash back and not store credit. I’m not pleased with made up policies.

Renee provides top notch service. We got everything we needed because of Renee helping us. She was extremely polite and came across as very happy to help.

The employees are so nice and helpful in the store and on the phone. Love stopping at this store on my way home from work when I need stuff.

Rita is always directing and in charge at the self-checkout. She is very helpful at getting us out quickly. I appreciate that!!)

I went in to the store to buy a microwave. I was so impressed by the sales clerk in the appliance department, Monika. She saw me and immediately came over and asked if she could help me. I didn't have to go hunt anyone down! She was knowledgeable, and very helpful and friendly! It was truly a great shopping experience. We bought the microwave and I left Home Depot feeling like I made a new friend :-)

I was having a bad day already being transferred on the phone or put on long holds. When I got to the store, I was put in another wait in line then the customer rep couldn’t answer my question either, so they redirected me to the appliance section. Mariela was there and she heard my problem and was the only one who was thinking how to help me instead of redirecting my problem to another colleague. She got on her toes and went to the computer to see what she could do. Mariela also got her manager. Throughout the whole process, Mariela was helpful, nice, and professional. I am confident that I will come back to this location because I know there is a stellar employee who cares about the shoppers. She also gave great advice on appliances and helped me print out my receipts to minimize the problems I may encounter later on. She was efficient and solved my problem!

We've shopped here for decades and have been consistently satisfied. Staff is experienced and well informed.

Today when purchasing sand, online showed a 40% price difference than in store. When questioning at checkout, one worker was trying to be helpful while the other associate stood. When asked the associate was rude and condescending. She stated “That’s the online price. We do online sales to encourage online shopping”. Were we going to go broke over a $3 difference on each item? No. However, when our total is almost double than what was anticipated, that sucks and the rude associate makes it worse. Save your time and money. The store is dirty. Many workers just stand around.

Staff rushed to help load heavy items on my cart, followed me to the parking lot and pushed the cart to my truck, then helped unload my purchases. Polite, cordial and professional service!

I had just put a review but since the problem occurred after using SC HD, Issued by just complained cashier name Cinthia or Cindy. After using the card for payments, it defaulted to me missing funds from store credit. She couldve easily scan my ID.. but instead she'd rather manually input it with double N from my 1st name & double z from my last! Obviously this is not a typo... its evil and intentional, what did i do to deserved this from her? I am very devasted right now bec funds from SC , she issued me, are being on hold due to "she know" exactly what she'd done and i want corrective action upon this matter! This is not necessary but rather she took one step more to do such thing. I dont appreciate it! And if home depot is not gonna take care of this, best believe i will shortly be notifying my lawyer about this insulting, degrading & evil manners of this particular cashier! She violated me, embarrassed me and mistreated me on her own way of she thinks was the best thing to treat a Pro Elit Account Holder!

Friendly service with a smile is becoming a rarity these days. At Home Depot I get friendly service with a smile from a employee that knows their job.

This Home Depot is the best in Escondido, mainly because of a particular customer service person named Michelle.

Just wanted to drop a note of thanks again to Home Depot off W. Valley in Escondido. They have attentive employees, especially Richard. I was observed looking at a BBQ Smoker, and he asked if I was interested in the item. I was informed that it would be deeply discounted on clearance because it was the last one. What a deal! I immediately bought it, saving myself a lot of cash. Richard even loaded it into my car! I was in & out in a flash. I’ve gotten some good deals here before, so I’ll continue coming back. I sooo appreciate their responsiveness & help. Great store!

Richard the stores loss prevention, followed me around the store. Accused me of hiding in the garden section to shoplift things in my purse and then he called me suspicious for having a micro bag pack as a purse.

I grew up in a smaller town in Central Coast California. I like Escondido because its smaller and friendlier than bigger cities. And Home Depot here makes it customers feel like we are their neighbors. I have yet to meet a Home Depot worker that didnt treat me like my requests were important. Thank you West Valley Home Depot

Sandra was the one , the only one to fix the wrong order, wrong amount that was sent from another store. Then see located what we needed in another store to have it delivered same day wrong order was being picked up. She was precise, had follow up and thru and knows how to make things happen. Trainer or manager in the making.
