Best Halloween and Christmas Displays!
Home Depot has become famous for being the leader in creative holiday displays for Halloween and Christmas. Some items are hard to acquire, but the Customer Service department at this store worked to locate my items and arranged for pick-up!

          GREAT TEAM MEMBER RECOGNITION
          Marcus and Shelly ( or maybe Shelby or something similar) were phenomenal! I have never had such outstanding service. They were extremely friendly and welcoming with my daughter and I. Please give them the recognition they deserve for making such a positive impact on a normally uneventful errand.

            Two Outstanding Ladies
            I just want to say thank you to two ladies who were a breath of fresh air for us the other day shopping at your store. Our contractor asked us to by material for a job he will be doing at our home. So we needed to go to the "Pro Desk". I did not know what this was. I asked Courtney and instead of her telling us where it was she personally walked us to the desk herself. Then as we are walking back there was no awkward silence. When we got the back of the store she handed us off to another employee but before walking off she asked if there was anything else she could do for us. That was a great interaction. Now we are at the "Pro Desk". We told the employee (did not get her name) we wanted to take a few moments to look at the things on the list before ordering. She stated no problem, I'll be here when you are ready. When we came back she was working with another customer. So as we were waiting the other young lady working at the same desk called us over. I explained what we were doing. She stated no problem, I can help you with that. We started the process, however she was having a computer problem. She asked us if we would mind waiting a few moments while she got a manager back there to help? She stated she was pretty new and she did not know how to fix the problem. We stated no problem. We appreciated her honesty and let her know it will be a good teachable moment (as I am a trainer myself). Here comes Courtney again! This was a great interaction! Courtney stayed with her the entire time helping her when needed and also holding a conversation with us as well! I just wanted to give these ladies a huge shout out for outstanding customer service!! I have been in this store hundreds of times and sometimes employees seem irritated if you stop and ask them a question but not these ladies. I wish I could remember the young lady's name however she initialed our paperwork JM. Thank you, Courtney & JM for outstanding customer service!

              I went to purchase a pallet of stepping stone, and everybody was willing to help me. The store was staffed for the clients.

                Hard to find things without using a phone app
                I find it VERY difficult to find things at Home Deport without using a phone app. Products do not seem to be sequenced in intuitive places in the store and the Aisle numbering is at best a joke. So even if it tells you what aisle something is "supposed"" to be in, finding that number can be a challenge depending on how high the digits are. At some point the sequence seems to get reversed between the front of the store and the back of the store (from the entrance) . I'm sure contactors and routing customers are accustomed to it but I think for the occasional shopped it is not well sequenced.

                    I thought Home Depot had gotten better but was wrong
                    I posted a positive review of my last trip because it was so surprising to have helpful staff. Turns out that was an aberration. Subsequent visit confirms it's the same crappy lack of service as before.

                        What kerosene
                        Went to buy kerosene for my heater during this cold snap. I asked the employee where it was and he did not know what kerosene was. I explained it was fuel... It then took a full 15 minutes for more than 3 employees to find the kerosene in the store.

                                  New dishwasher install
                                  Still waiting for the installation to be completed. Team that came to install the dishwasher had not been properly trained said it required a plumber to complete the installation because they were not allowed to complete. Was told plumber would be come out to complete day 3 no one from Home Depot has called. When I contacted them they said 24-48 hours again. Very poor customer service and communication.

                                      Customer service is Amazing at this FW Home Depot 0542
                                      I highly recommend this FW Home Depot where personal and professional service is paramount. As a senior woman and military retiree who has maintained or renovated six homes in the US over the past 40 years, I feel lucky to have now have easy access to what I consider as the strongest link in the Home Depot chain. It’s the fab employees who make the difference. I’ve benefited from their expertise, patience, guidance and price-savvy support for three years. Appliances, doors, landscaping, electrical, flooring, plumbing supplies, credit services, returns and checkout … each and every department seems to be staffed by folks who really care and want the best result for th customer. They’re fun too! I love their enthusiasm. Must be great leadership. Cyndi Osgood of the flooring department gets today’s shout out for exceptional service. The amazing thing is that she helped me place a large landscaping order, it wasn’t flooring. I’m impressed with the cross-trained knowledge exhibited by employees at this store. There’s none of the common “not my department” delay or “I can’t help with that” response. It’s “I’ve got this” and they do! They’re on it and they’re all about helping you get things done right. Amazing.

                                        Thank you to all of the employees at Home Depot 4850 SW Loop 820 Fort Worth. They worked together to answer my questions, help me select products that I needed and get me checked out and loaded up in less than 15 minutes! You guys rock!

                                          I encountered about 6 great employees while on my first visit to this store. I am new in town. Eddie was a star and She, yes, She! Was so friendly and had positive energy. She helped me twice without any hesitation and she was busy but never made me feel like I took her out. Thank you Eddie! Great store!

                                            Richard is awesome!
                                            I went in for a brush killer and with the help of Richard taking the time to help me find the right product for that we began talking about pest control for fire ants, sugar ants, rats, and several other issues I’ve had at my house and other properties I manage. He was honest and took the time to explain what works and what doesn’t. Super helpful and I know he had other things to do because it was close to closing but he wanted to make sure I was taken care of.

                                                If you want a cashier be ready to WAIT!! No AC in 98 degrees. So Home Depot can save salary, wages, and benefits.

                                                  BEWARE of workers who "help" load!
                                                  My tailgate received major scratches ($550 to repair!) due to the 2 young Home Depot workers "helping" to load our purchase, NOT THINKING about their actions. They kept ramming the horizontal cart into the open tailgate, instead of LIFTING the item off the cart and sliding it into the truck bed. This resulted in the cart sliding under the tailgate. We did not realize the damage until after the item was offloaded and tailgate closed. Recommend that you closely monitor! We were too worried about getting the ties out, and did not realize what they were doing.

                                                    Needed several storage bins. Only one was on the shelf. The HD app said over 200 were available. Went to the customer service desk. The associate pointed to the top of the storage racks and walked away. Waited several minutes to see if anyone was going to help before I left.

                                                          Cashier named MARY was so rude!
                                                          I’ve only been in this Fort Worth area 5 months and this store is like no other I’ve ever been to. Not sure what was up with cashier Mary at this store. She was beyond rude and condescending. I think she needs a job not in customer service. I’ve never had someone be so horribly rude and have such a horrible attitude EVER! It made for a horrible experience. I wish she would act and say the things she said repeatedly to me, but to my husband. He would not of been kind to her. I’m going to avoid her checkout. I’m not sure why half of the employees at this store don’t know where things are in the store. It’s like a wild goose chase. It happens every time I ask someone, I have to end up asking 3 or 4 people before I find the item, they send me all over the store because they don’t know. I usually get ‘I think it’s there’ and it isn’t. They even usually look it up on their phones and still get the location wrong. Why can’t they say I’m not sure.
