GREAT STORE

Overall great very friendly store love it

This store is exceptionally handling the safety of its employees and guests during this virus outbreak. They’re doing it better than any other I’ve been to! The employees are very friendly and helpful, especially LaToya and Denise and I highly recommend shopping here to anyone.

Super cool store

I've lived less than half a mile away for over 20 years. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. I continue to go at least once a week for 1 reason or another, I'm always doing or needing something. I absolutely love this store and all of their employees!!!!!

This store is right off Rt 15 in Hamden and is one of the nicest, cleanest, and best run of any Home Depot I have been to in Connecticut. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; if someone does not know the answer to a question, they will find someone who does. I never worry about being talked down to as a woman who does her own stunts, unlike the other home improvement stores in the area. The staff talk to me as an equal and don't even bat an eye when I ask specific plumbing, electrical, or hardware questions based on the project that I am doing that week. Mr Rodgers tells us to look for the helpers....well all the people that work in this store are helpers!

I have found that this store is the best in my area. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Peter in particular from the electric department went WAY above and beyond to help me with a custom project. Great service!!

I love shopping at this particular location. The staff are always friendly and ready to assist immediately. All are extremely knowledgeable. The checkout process is always swift. I was able to locate everything I needed for my project. The store is always clean, as well as the restroom. It’s conveniently located near exit 60 off the Merritt Parkway.

I'm truly blessed that my local Home Depot is only a mile away from my home. I'm very impressed with the help I receive when needed, and with the friendliness of every employee there.

Hands down my favorite Home Depot, employees seem happy to be at work and that greatly impacts the interactions with the customers. Whenever I have asked an employee to help locate an item, they either knew right away or asked another team member to get answer. I have never walked away with no answer.

Please continue to support our Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT Store #8473. We do not need another store being closed due to lack of business and employees put out of work. The store is kept clean and orderly and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable and that is very important especially when you are spending your hard earned monies. The store is in the midst of our Hamden shopping centers and very easy to get to and from. We have to support our own stores and they are worth saving. They may need to hire some young employees they need jobs also, everybody does not go on to College.

The Home Depot (Hamden #8473) has a very large selection of everything you'll need for your home project. You'll find the associates helpful, the store clean, neat, and fully stocked. Should you encounter any problems, don't worry. Javier and Orlando are terrific at turning would-be problems into great shopping experiences. Every great store has great employees.

I cannot hold one individuals actions against any ENTIRE entity. That said, with only ONE EXCEPTION, thiiis is/ was one of thə BEST HD's I've EVER shopped at. Thə staff were/ have been EXCEEDINGLY helpful and gracious with not only their efforts to assist me, but with their patience as well as time in studying my neeed and trying to help me understand what I'm buying and what it's particularly useful in achieving task wise. I'm grateful to Hamden HD as a whole.

There appears to be very few people working in key areas in this store. I was shopping for a storm door and no one was available and I was told the "door" person would be in that evening. I came back another day and started the process but have been waiting over a week for a call back to schedule. I have left numerous messages and still no call back from the department or the manager. I have contacted online customer service - have seriously spend an enormous amount of time and energy - and still nothing. I can't recommend this experience to anyone.

Here so often we can find everything with a blindfold on. Very pleasant employees.

The store was neat and well organized. I found what I was looking for that was unavailable at other similar stores. It seemed to have mo re items and the staff was friendly and available to help. It is conveniently located and I would definitely visit again when traveling on the Merritt parkway..

Waited 20 minutes for an associate to finish a break so they could retrieve a 4x8 sheet of panel board from a top shelf and cut it for me.

The employees are very helpful and friendly. I was able to get everything that I needed at that one store. Very easy to get around nice and clean. I will shop there again. The Hamden Store...... Great

Great customer service!!

The Manager on Duty on 06/07/2019 was very rude. The staff tried to help, but the Manager kept interrupting. The last straw was when the Manager referred to me as a "bad penny." I have reported the matter to the corporate office and am demanding a written apology. I always shopped there. This particular Manager has been rude in the past to customers, but the name calling is unacceptable, especially when the advertised prices and the sku do not match. Instead of berating the customer this manager could have simply made a price adjustment. So on a scale of 1-10, I'm giving this store -1. What a horrible experience.

THIS IS A TERRIFIC STORE, WITH A SUPER CREW. I just like to stop by from time to time and check what is on sale, or just to pick up a few things. I like to walk around the store and shop at my convenience, without high pressure techniques or gimmicks. It is truly a relaxing experience. Yes.
