The associate in the kitchen cabinets was very friendly and helpful in my choosing of the product I purchased. The cabinet displays were easily seen and the associate area was clean and sanitized, which I was impressed.

Always have a good experience with Home Depot

From the front door inward, all the staff were courteous and helpful. They knew exactly where we needed to find what we needed. They answered questions and waited patiently for us to ask necessary questions. The store was clean and well-organized. Most HDs are, but the Howard Lane HD seemed to have an extra pound of professionalism.

This store has consistently kept up safety protocols during this pandemic to keep customers safe. Thank you!

My husband and I went to the Howard lane location. We needed sand paper but I couldn't find my glasses. The man in the sand paper section went out of his way to help me. He read all the labels and scan a few items for just to make sure we got exactly what we needed. I'm truly a hard person to please and impress at the same time. This guy made me feel comfortable and understood. Impressive America

This is a hardware store one would like to shop. The store is well lighted, clean, products are easy to find and the associates are helpful. Its a big store, rather than trying to figure out where things are, ask one of the friendly associates, she or he would save you time by giving you the information you need. The cashiers are friendly and and the lines move fast as there are also self checkout stands.

I have come to this store cause they have what i need and employees are very helpful.

The store is often out of stock. The associates are there at the mandatory self checkout to help but they do not go above any type of standard. I was told 3 times how I used the gift card I had the wrong way.

I have only had one horrible encounter with store help, but it was so bad that I’m not sure I’ll ever go back. A short Hispanic female sales clerk, well under 5 feet tall, did not treat me with respect or equality. Since I am also female I was shocked by her behavior. I went to the store with two subcontractors to purchase materials with which to replace the siding on my 2-story house. The female clerk let my guys put two carts of materials in the contractor area. I stood near the materials the whole time, clearly waiting for the two to finish shopping. The female clerk never once spoke to me or offered to assist me. She did, however, scan in items the guys added to the carts. Even though I was within 15 feet of her for over an hour, she never made eye contact with me. As my guys were looking for the last few items they needed, I asked the woman if she could give me an idea of the cost per panel for the siding itself. She claimed she couldn’t help me even though I told her I was paying for it. When my guys brought up the last few items, I again asked for a general idea if the cost of the siding alone. She then got very loud, and said that she couldn’t ring me up at her register and that I did not communicate clearly. She looked me straight in the face as she berated me. Understand: I have a bachelors in communication from the University of Texas and have taught speech communication classes at college and high school levels. I was dumbfounded and couldn’t believe she was aggressive to me in front of my male contractor associates. When the gentlemen I was with asked to check out, she immediately scurried to get the scanned information from her register and quickly led them to a register at the other end of the store to check out. When they asked for a general total of the siding, she answered then with a number. She did not look at me. She was speaking only to them. When I stepped up to pay for MY purchases, she obviously was not happy, and did not say a word to me. She did not offer me special financing options for my 2,200 plus purchase. She performed mechanically and wordlessly whole I was in front of her. I asked her co-workers if I could speak to her manager after she left us ( quickly by the way). The manager was busy and I didn’t have the time to wait on him since I needed to get my project started. I do not know if the woman was discriminating against me because I am white, fat, old, or female. Maybe I didn’t look rich enough to afford that dollar amount of materials. The clerk was obviously willing to talk to the men, but not to me, the one paying for the purchase. She felt comfortable enough to accuse me of being unable to communicate with her, when she was unable to initiate any conversation with me. I have had minor issues with other clerks, but most of those issues were because of a lack of knowledge. I have never before felt so invisible to Home Depot staff in my 59 years on this earth. I feel I cannot return to that location since I am clearly not a valued customer.

In one of my visit I had to load a water softener into my car but realize my car was a little too small, my husband went to pick up our truck from home so we can load it but we were having a little bit of trouble. Chris, one of the managers at this location, saw us struggling so he came over to help us even though he was off the clock & on the way to his car to go home. Little things like that show how much your employees really value your customers and I really appreciate that!! Because of this experience I came back an other two times this week to make a couple of purchases. The customer service here is amazing! Diana in gardening is also incredible. She helped me in my last visit and was one of the best people I’ve interacted with at this location. Both her and Chris are amazing at what they do and you can tell they care about their job and the impact they have on people.

Nice store,good people work there.

Everyone was nice here especially Mrs. Mona. She helped me twice. Shes very strong, helped me put the Honda engine Mower in the car for me. Importantly, i didnt feel left out being Asian at a sensitive time rite now. Thank you everyone here for making me safe while shopping.

New to auto body painting, I surely needed help\education, and I'm very proud of the sale\associate called "Wes" he helped educated me on air compressor, as well, I fully appreciate his knowledge, and the sales\check out.

I Strongly Recommend that Manager "Pro Jo" start training managers at other locations.

If you are a general homeowner, or head of household, this store has many products and services that are available at a typical grocery store or "hardware" store. They dont sell fresh food or groceries, but they have more products and selection of products in homeowner or professional grade quality, with knowlegable sales staff and advisors. The prices are very competitive, and no hassle if you need to return something you thought you needed, but could not use.

I was helped from the moment I walked in the store. At first I did not think I needed any help. However I soon learned the store employee knew much more then I did about what I needed. After getting home with my purchase I became more convinced that she "DID" know more them I did and was right about what I needed. She saved me a lot of time and wasted energy. Thank you! The cashier was extra friendly and helpful also.

The cashier let someone who was obviously behind me cut in front of me. I was discriminated against i would not recommend this place
