The staff was quite helpful and accommodating. There is another Home Depot (Rhode Island Ave) close to my place and there’s Lowe’s too but I keep coming back to the Hyattsville Store because of how helpful the staff are. Special mention to Claudette (cashier) who exemplifies the perfect demeanor for anyone who is engaged in customer service. If I were to open my own company, I would hire her in a heartbeat. She should do an in-service amongst her fellow employees so she could share her “why” and what motivates her to come to work and consistently delivers an exemplary service. Thank you so much, Claudette.

I was impressed and I have to admit surprised at the customer service I received while shopping at the Hyattsville store. Staff took the time to ensure that I found what I wanted and were able to answer my questions.

Time after time, I always received a warm greeting when entering Home Depot. The customer service is excellent. The stick and items are available in most cases. And the prices are reasonable, partially when using a Home Depot discount code coupon.

Rental equipment is very worn. Had to bring back a pressure washer that I rented twice b/c of the poor condition of the hose and wand. Made my project go from an easy 1-day to a long frustrating 2-days. Disappointed to say the least. Iris in the rental department was a great help with figuring out all the issues.

I can't give a complimentary review as my appliances haven't arrived yet. I purchased "Forno french door black kitchen 3-peice set. Range and dishwasher on Saturday, two days ago. Home Depot service department have reached out to me today, Monday, March 31, 2025 in a attempt to setup the delivery and haul away of my old appliances. Which. I LOVE ❤️ I can't wait to post again once my items are setup I submit another review. Until then I your shopping 🛍 at Home Depot makes you smile 😃

I love to garden and landscape in my free time. In the Spring, I start with the seeds I bought from the Hyattsville store. Afterwards, I catch the soil and mulch that will go on sale. All the lumber I used to build a stand for a 30-gallon aquarium came from the store as well. I am very happy with my purchases and look forward to returning .

My home is almost equidistant between the Home Depot in Northeast DC and the one in Hyattsville. I’ve had far more pleasant experiences at the Hyattsville store!

I was looking for a few 3/4 pro press ball valves, the young lady with the curly hair help me look. After she checked her phone she informed me that there was none in stock.

I was looking for an item that was now only available on clearance. I went first to Bethesda, which got me the SKU, but could not locate the item. In Hyattsville, however, an employee really worked hard and found the item high above the normal shelving. Other employees were also very pleasant.

Anytime I needed something for the home, this store has it. Other stores do not carry the stuff I need.

Employees there seem really happy to be there

Throughout the store, items that are loose in boxes on the shelves need the items sorted out so that only the item that is stated on the front of the box is in that box. HD should hire some highschool students to come in after school and clean up this mess.

Employees provide excellent customer service. They are always willing to assist customers with what ever they need.

I only use Home Depot for my plumbing business. Almost all of the time, they have what I want and if they do not, the employees are so helpful with locating what I need. You guy ROCK!

I received great customer service when I purchased a carbon monoxide detector!

I was informed by email that the product I ordered was ready for pick up, once there the product was at pick up nor did they have the product in the store, even thou the website showed 10 items in stock. I wasn't offered a discount, gift card etc for my troubles, just a I sorry sir

I went out to get boxes and packing supplies since I’m moving. I don’t frequent Home Depot a lot this location was really cool. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

I love this place. I know I will be able to get everything I need to make my new home really my home from paint, curtain rod hooks, fence, cleaning products, blinds and more.

Two sets of employees worked as a team to assist me with an issue I brought to the store. First, Kelvin, Nahomi (male), and Jay attempted to help me dislodge an attachment stuck in my drill. Though unsuccessful, these three were pleasant and determined. I soo appreciate their help and the laughs in the midst of their attempts to help me. While in another part of the store, Clarence and Mario asked me if I needed help. After showing them my issue, they dislodged the bit in seconds! Cause for a group hug. THANK YOU! Great teamwork!

Nobody wants to help the customer asked 3 different guys for help all same reply ill call somebody but proceed to stand around haha hee hooo..would not help

I bought this metal shelf pin because it is much more sturdy than the plastic shelf pins which break easily, causing the shelves to topple and break my stuff.

I bought this month rebars at this store. The staff advise me to buy online the quantity I need it, and I finally my dream came true. Great experience!
