The store is neat, I know pretty much where the products are. I don't shop anywhere else, when it comes to remodeling. Thank you!

Service was efficient and thorough even though it was the last day of a big appliance sale. Store was clean and staff was friendly. Janet ( in appliances knows her stuff and went above and beyond to help us out.

Some associates are very friendly and willing to help but every now and again they disappear and don't come back or they have no idea about basic information about products. I really appreciate those who admit they aren't sure and then research the home depot site or others to try to assist you. One guy in Appliances told me to go home and research it and then order online. I asked him what he was there for and why they paid him to be there and he smirked and said it would take him the same amount of time to look it up so I should just do it and order online. All online orders on this island still credit that store so it didn't matter to him. Then I found Wendy in appliances and she is awesome! We spent $4,000 today after I swore to my husband I would never buy from that store. If you need to purchase appliances ask for her. She knows a lot of little things about products that are very helpful. And if she doesn't know she will take the time to research it for you. Not tell you to go home and do it yourself! We feel well informed and very good about our decisions on these big dollar products and that says a lot! Mahalo Wendy!

Have an area in front on the store, with holiday specials and reduced price items. In resent years I have noticed more Females shopping, I aisles should have more detailed labeling.

This store is a one stop store for building materials and all what you need for inside and outside improvement for house and building. If you never been to this store before pls. try you'll be surprise. Aloha and thanks Home depot I was able to re-roof my house by myself.

On 11/8/17 went there to buy light fixtures. Edward, employee, took the initiative to ask me if I needed assistance. Of course I did. He was very friendly, helpful and knowledgible about the product. Kudos to him!!! Previous visits I had to "track down" an employee for assistance. Also a felmale cashier was friendly and helpful paying for the merchandise.

Since Home Depot arrived on Kauai some years ago, it's been a true blessing. My experiences are always pleasant. I love my personal attention from the paint department (as a painting and faux finishing contractor) and appliance department.

Great store, a lot of choices, great customer service, best thing to happen on Kauai.

Customer service not consistent; some days good, some days not so good. Yesterday was a bad one. I needed help getting a couple of T1-11 sheets off the shelf. I approached this male cashier (who had no customers at the time) for assistance. He dispatched someone to help me, telling me it was going to be a few minutes. This gentleman could have helped me in two minutes. Anyway still waiting for assistance, another worker approaches this cashier and they're talking about going out for a few beers one of these days. (Cashier's counter still had no customers yet). Neither one of them offered to assist me. I finally attempted to get the sheets off the shelf myself. It took a customer to assist me, he must have seen me struggling. In the interim, one of the sheets fell on my foot while getting it off the shelf. ( My foot still hurts.) When I went to pay, this gentleman's register was closed. He was gone! Worst customer service EVER!!!!

They are all on top if it☺ always there to help find what your looking for

Used to be that when an older woman walked into a hardware store, all of the salesmen disappeared, or hunted for contractors to help instead. Not at my Home Depot! In the past couple of years, the helpfulness and availability of the sales staff has exceeded all my expectations, and that makes all the difference. A bolt is a bolt, but a happy shopping experience is a treasure.

In general most are friendly and helpful. I met one older tall guy that know where everything is... yes I look forward to seeing him. I am remodeling my home and we require visiting 3xs a week. Thanks for being there and your prices are great.

We live in Lihue and go to home depot a few times a week for all our needs for our home. The store is very organized, clean and well stocked.

This store has been poorly managed for years. Customer service is almost non-existent. Most employees are unfriendly. No one ever watches to see if additional help is needed at customer service or at cashiers or in a department. No employee seems to be empowered to call for additional help for customers, and management is never anywhere to be seen. Online Inventory records are often incorrect. They have lost items from special orders after having marked them as received. Waited in line for ten minutes today at customer service while employees and management were oblivious that additional help was needed in that area of the store at that time. Complaints to local store management never result in any improvement.

Lihue Home Depot always has products what we need. The employees are so helpful and very assisting to help.

Being a single female on the island hone improvement stores are intimidating...parking is not a problem, the entrance is inviting and the garden department is colorful and neat. I find the store spacious and the aisles wide, only once or twice were the plumbing and hand tools aisle stacked with products. The home appliance department looked deserted when I entered--but I knew what I needed, a new electric dryer. I heard friendly voices, and followed the sound. Behind the standing appliances were the two most patient & helpfull representatives. They were juggling tasks: helping with the computers, answering questions & acknowledging all of us. They were soon to be handling at least 4 single and 2 more couples by the end of my sale. Very knowledgeable in the appliances... offered quite a few options and home delivery and extended warranty plan. I had a great experience. Thank you

One of my favorite stores on the Island. Its like a big toy store for me. Whether I'm browsing or just killing time, I always come out with something.

I just bought a new trailer from Home Depot and wanted to waterproof the wood deck. As a I was looking for a sealer, I was approached by an employee asking if I needed assistance. I took up the offer and we discussed application, coverage and what best work's for the environment here on Kauai. In the end, I took her recommendations and purchased what I needed. I completed the project that very same day with no extra sealer or any issues. The assistance and recommendations were greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work!

It's the only store on the island ! It is a good resource for all types of supplies and building supplies. The staff there is very helpful in finding things and helpful in choosing the correct item. Items are very orderly and easy to find.

I love this dept. Everyone here seems well qualified and friendly. The whole experience of genuinely conserned and helpful employees surrounded by lovely healthy flowers lifts the spirit. Good environment with good people who work there. ! Thanks Garden Dept!
