Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, and CFLs for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as solar and wind.

Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine metal roof panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check brick and cinder block for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, replace chimney caps and vinyl siding if damaged.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off wannabe porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
