The Middletown store was just as good and helpful as all Home Depots. I usually use the home depot in Hamden, Derby or Waterbury which are closer to my home. Even when I travel to Long Island N.Y. every Home depot i use is exactly the same with help and friendliness and products are very easy to locate by myself or with the help of a store employee.

When you are looking for a product and you can not find what your looking for else where come to Home Depot with there multiple variety of products, you are sure to find it here.

While there are a few stores about the same distance as the Middletown store, Middletown is my go-to Home Depot. The staff here makes you feel like family! Bud at the front door, Jane and David in Kitchens, Mike in Paint, Bruce and Holli in Plumbing and Matt in Lumber. They are always ready and willing to help with any project!

Home Depot in Middletown always has what I want to purchase. Employees are professional and very helpful. A great store.

The store is well organized, and with a little friendly help from the employees, I have been able to find everything I need. Everything from home interior projects, exterior projects, repairs, and gardening needs. Reasonably priced with plenty of supplies. One of my favorite stores.

We were greeted by friendly staff as we entered the store. Sales people on the floor directed us to the products we were shopping for today. We also grabbed some sale items that were on display. We frequent this store enough that I was thinking of getting a job here just for the discounts!

The Middletown CT store was originally a little understaffed within the first few months after opening a few years ago....Since that time it has continued to improve in most respects. My most recent visit was pleasant -- clean, well-stocked store with ample, friendly staff. Staff is very helpful, even with returns. I am happy to be a regular customer. One piece of feedback - I recently rented one of your trucks to bring home a snow thrower that I had purchased there. The deal was 75 minutes for $20. I was disappointed by 4 aspects of the rental that seem to me to be 'customer unfriendly': 1) 75 minutes is a short time. I noted that the time started with when the associate first started the transaction on the computer. It was almost 10 minutes after that before the transaction was completed and I had the keys to use the vehicle. So the rental was really only for about 65 minutes, 2) While the truck had a ramp a) the ramp was barely wide enough to fit the snow blower, tires hanging off on both sides. I had no idea this would be an issue. b) the ramps go up to the bed of the truck..fine, except the tailgate door of the truck did not appear to removable and lay right over the ramp, so I had to pull the snow blower up the ramp and over the door to get it in the truck...not user friendly. 3) Given I already only had use of the truck for 65 minutes, I found out as I was leaving that I was also expected to stop at a gas a station and top off the gas and that a receipt was required for credit, otherwise I would be charged $6.50/gallon. I live 4 miles from the store. Even given that I just loaded the truck, drove home, rolled the thrower off the truck and returned immediately to the store. Requiring me to stop and buy less than a gallon of gas and get a receipt, extended the time enough that I only had 8 minutes to spare when I got back to the store. 4) While the associate knew I was transporting a snow blower, he gave no indication that there was no provision on the truck for anchoring the snow blower....I really would have appreciated the suggestion of needing some rope or cables to secure my $900 purchase. It rolled from one side of the truck to the other even when i took extremely slow turns...Not helpful and potentially dangerous. Some suggestions: 1) begin the rental clock at the point where the renter has the keys in their hand, 2) Extend the 75 minute timeslice to 90 minutes -- much more reasonable, especially if you require a stop at the gas station. 3) Provide tie-downs with the rental, since virtually anyone needing a truck will need to secure their load 4) If someone makes purchases in excess of a certain amount (say, maybe $500?) make the rental free.....You are in a competitive industry...You can do better. Thanks.

I am consistently in this store for one thing or another . The Staff in the various departments are always helpful when needed and the Front desk people are especially good. Ashley Tucker above the rest.

Go to Henry in the Flooring Dept or Mike in the Paint Dept for really good and helpful advice. We did and it saved a lot of time and money.

Very clean and well laid out store. Greeted at the door and then when I was looking Paul asked, "Can I help you find something?" I was really thankful that quickly we gathered everything I needed to install handicap shower bars, railings and how to securely attach. He found all the hardware that was required so I got the project completed with ease. Thank you Home Depot and Paul!

This is one of the best Home Depot stores that I have been to. The staff was top notch and the experience that my girlfriend and I had couldn't have been better. Highly reccomend!!

Your associates are both friendly and knowledgeable

The employees' here are truly an amazing group of dedicated and well trained people. They made our very extensive home projects easy. They were always really pleasant too. Truly!

Great store, always clean and the staff helpful. on 10/1/17 Brandon was especially helpful. He offered to help move and select heavy pressure treated wood for a pergola and cut those that were identified. He then offered to move the heavy cart to the front of the store while we continued shopping. He is the model of an excellent employee!

The store was organized with concierge type service. My wheelchair husband and I were spared the long "walkabout " that normally taxes us, and , many times, we leave. This was a successful shopping experience and will result in many more purchases.

They have great customer service and amazing employees jeremy was a big help to me from start to finish making this experience a great one for not only me but my kids as well thank you this store is great and i will shop here again!!!

Natalie in the Paint Department was extremely helpful. She was on her break and took the time to help me get the four gallons of stain mixed that I needed to finish a job I was working on. That was dedication and a credit to great customer service. My compliments to her and the Middletown Home Depot.
