So, I had an interesting interaction during my visit to the Montville, CT HD. It wasn’t long after I entered the store, in the bagged-concrete mix aisle. I was approached by an individual who had the most God-awful appearance I’ve seen, so far, by any Home Depot employee. He kind of looked like a thrash-metal, “Bozo” the clown, with orange hair and a face that was all tattooed up and pierced— a quite shocking example of poor-decision making at it’s finest. However, my issue wasn’t with how he looked. Bozo asked if I needed help, to which I thanked him and inquired about the plastic bins that one could mix concrete in. (Honestly, it was difficult not to stare. I had to force myself to keep looking away). Anyway, during previous store visits, employees offering me assistance either looked up the item their on their phone, or help me to look for the item. After hearing my question, Bozo paused awkwardly… then said something like, I think I know what you’re describing. Yes, sorry, we’re all out of those. As I was walking away he apologized, again,.. But the weird thing was how he said it, kind of creepily. Moreover, HE NEVER EVEN ATTEMPTED TO LOOK THE ITEM UP OR WALK THE AISLE THAT WE WERE IN TO TRY AND FIND THE ITEM. I went back to the beginning of the aisle, and there they were !! …on the bottom shelf, just tucked in a little bit. I didn’t notice them. What I did notice was this complete weirdo working at Home Depot. All I could think was “Why is this person working here?” Is HD so desperate to hire??? Honestly, Bozo should be working in a circus. So, he really has the right to work at Home Depot, dealing with customers— even though he has obviously made a series of very terrible tattooing and piercing choices that disfigured his face…. and, moreover, make customers feel uncomfortable?? Next time I shop at the Montville HD, I will be staying far away from Bozo. (There are, however, many other very approachable employees, with wonderful personalities, at this HD)

I live in Uncasville and work in Waterford. Work is closer to the Waterford HD. I still always visit Montville HD be use the staff is great, the products are usually there if the site says it is, and it never seems to be that busy. Even when it is! The staff is always very friendly and go above and beyond when helping me and my family. Highly recommend this store to everyone in the area.

I went to Home Depot to buy an air conditioner I needed one that covered 350 ft and was portable. I walked in I found it in about 30 seconds and it took me another 5 minutes to check out.

First of all I want to say thank you to how great this hd is. Everyone is so nice and friendly everytime my wife and I go. I refuse to shop at the one in Lisbon after my experience with the paint lady. She was super rude and nasty. I've worked in the retailed business for over 20 years now and would never talk to anyone Like that. Montville HD is the best. Always super friendly and nice. They help me out all the time. I'm getting a bunch of doors put in and Lucas is always super friendly and Ready to help. He rules. The people that work for him rule as well. Thank you so much for a awesome experience. I'm not ever one to complain. I've worked in retail most of my life and I'm sorry I had to share my bad experience about Lisbon. But I can assure you that has never happened in Montville. Great job I'll always keep coming back. 👏 😁😁😁

Tried to place an order for install of interior but the new computer system was tripping up all employees who tried to help and did not have sufficient help desk support to resolve issues in a timely manner.

Always great to see Fe as the cashier. Her energy is beautiful. She’s always helpful & friendly.

Just have to say that we've been shopping at this neighborhood store for quite sometime now and always find the associates eager to assist us with hour home project questions and concerns. We'll continue to shop here at this store.

I like the montville store it near my home and i dont have to go over the goldstar bridge. used them in the past for home projects. took a little getting used to its opposite of waterford. my fav is westerly one only when im out that way. i would shop home depot or hardware store then a clothes store.

Service was excellent and the LG air conditioner cools bedroom 150 Sq Ft down very fast

I was having a lot of work done on my home. Spent a lot of time at HD. Debbie in particular, then another time Ben, helped me to xchange items and helped me find them on my receipt. Will always go back to Home Depot. thanks.

Morris went above and beyond helping us find an item. We wouldn't have found it on our own, as it was in a box high up in a shelving unit. ( if you are on the app and it says the product has no home- be sure to look up high in the shelving units)

We live closer to another Home Depot. However, we come to the Uncasville store in Uncasville because every employee has been kind, helpful and most of the time go beyond. If someone cannot help us, they find someone who can. Because of the over all great service, we feel there must be excellent management as well. We have even had to use the service department. They were great.

These people were horrible. I love home Depot and shop quite a few of them. Not this one again.

Bought a vacumn needed a battery and a charger was helped and got them both on sale

My most recent interactions with Kayci, Don & Amber were the best. On the three separate occasions each of these individuals went above and beyond to ensure they were assisting me to the best of their ability. (Don has the patience of a saint - when it comes to plumbing supplies and my non-existent knowledge!;)) Many thanks to you all and the other team members whom have helped me in just about every department there over the years, extremely grateful for your great work ethic and help always!

Not only the best Home Depot, my favorite store, period!

I was extremely pleased with Montville Home Depot I knew exactly what I wanted for my kitchen and the consultant they are Jason was extremely helpful in finding exactly what I needed

I've gone to this store for a long time and for good reason. They almost always have what I'm looking for and their staff is very friendly and helpful.

Compared to other Home Depot locations this one stood out as a step a step above the rest

Me and my brother visited the Uncasville Home Depot on Mother's Day with our mom. We were overall satisfied with the selection of flowers and garden supplies that we wanted to get for our mom. However, when it was time to check out we asked the cashier to split the payment between me and my brother. We had asked him several times to make sure it was all set. However, after I inserted my credit card he said that he was unable to split the payment. This was frustrating because we had to go to customer service where they had to refund part of my payment. They then provided me a partial credit, and my brother was able to pay for the items that were taken out. The associate at customer service was good, but I didn't appreciate it when she said we should have used cash to split the payment. I feel that every cashier at Home Depot should be knowledgeable on how to split payments between customers. I work at the Mystic Big Y as a cashier, and I do this all of the time! Otherwise, I am happy I received the credit and was not billed the full amount. Our flowers and garden look very nice at our mother's house.

The Montville store is the closest Home Depot to my home. But, that's really not why I prefer that location. The New London store is not that much farther away. The Montville HD is less hectic. I guess that's because they don't do as much business as more urban locations, so I sure hope it's enough to keep them open for a very long time. The crew is always very friendly, and they are constantly asking if I need assistance. I have bad legs, so I need to use the power scooters. They always have them fully charged and ready. And, by the way, the HD scooters are light years better than a major competitor's. The store is also very clean - not easy when you consider the hundreds of thousands of products on the shelves. I also noticed that they don't allow too many carts to accumulate in the parking lot before they roll them back inside. I'm a veteran, by the way. The 10% military discount is much appreciated - especially with the rampant inflation we're now experiencing. In addition, I find the HD pricing to be very competitive. Overall, I'm a very satisfied HD customer at the Montville, CT store. I highly recommend it!

Good afternoon, I was in Uncasville visiting a friend & on my way to Norwich, I stopped at The Home Depot in Uncasville before entering I-395. I wanted to look for some outside whiskey barrel planters. When I entered the outside section there was an employee named "Victoria" who provided me "outstanding customer service" helping me find the planter's I wanted! Then when I selected the 2 planters, I headed to the front cash out counter! Mr. Gary provide a cash-out experience too! Thanks Team!
