I’m in the middle of a painting project and while I was grabbing all of the painting equipment from the basement I came across a roller kit I had bought a couple of years ago from another painting project. I had bought 1 too many and did not need it. The kit is still in stock at the store and originally sealed never opened. All I asked is if I can return and receive store credit to use the funds towards my current painting project. Since the computer had denied any return I was not able to receive store credit. I spoke with the store manager and he blamed it on corporate and there was nothing he could do, it’s the POLICY. I am a loyal customer and use Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs. I found it disappointing that the manager did not even attempt to help me out. The product was not and does not expire, the kit was in its original box and sealed and ready for re stock.

The Newburgh Home Depot is a great store. It is neat, tidy, well organized and shelves are always full. Employees are friendly and always offer to help - even if they are just walking through an area.

I spend a lot of time and money at Home Depot as I am constantly doing DIY projects I placed great emphasis on customer service and Home Depot Newburg has some great people working for them in particular. I would like to commend Dorothea and Steve for their ability to provide great help with a smile I wish all of your employees were trained by these two great examples of how store should be run

Home Depot is my favorite store.

If I could give no star, I would. The worst customer service ever. No staff, and when you find someone, they disappear to find someone in the department. Then, eventually, don't come back. I should have made this review last year but decided not to. I said I wouldn't purchase anything from this place ever again. But here I am, giving them a 2nd chance. Last January, I ordered a door and storm door. I paid cash. My delivery was scheduled for March. I didn't receive the door until almost June. I went to the store to cancel and get a refund. They told me I had to wait until the door came. Then, get charged a shipping fee before getting refunded. Fast forward to this year. I purchased a refrigerator. Delivery set for today with a 4 hour window 11:30-3:30pm. I was notified around 12:30 that my purchase was out for delivery. At 4:45 pm, I called customer service. They said delivery time has changed to 3:30pm - 7:30pm. Did i say i stayed home from work today? I received a call at 6:41pm from the driver saying they had problems with the truck and can't deliver until Monday. He said the fridge is on the truck and they had problems with DOT weight station. All of this is a bunch of lies. He then tells me they started further up and didn't have any deliveries in my area. Then why email and text me that my purchase is on the way. I literally live 10 minutes away from the store they picked up from. NEVER AGAIN

This store has a whole new vibe. I don’t know if it’s new management or that there’s not a whole lot of people wandering around looking to steal stuff!

Unbelievable customer service. Every employee I encountered was nice and helpful. This Home Depot location should be a model for others. I give credit to the leadership at this location. Keep it up

When I arrived at the store, I was uncertain about how to address my plumbing issue. I approached the plumbing aisle representative who had already been there. After showing him pictures of my situation, we spent some time together identifying the right solution and gathering all the necessary pipes and parts for my project. I'd give this experience 10 stars!

I was looking for a piece of wood and they had it variety forms. Treated, non-treated, primed, and sanded. Good selection.

I own Handy AF LLC which is a home services business and spend a significant amount of time ordering and picking up items throughout the week. The customer service team at Newburgh (especially Zion, Samantha and the supervisor Jen) are absolutely fantastic and should all be recognized for their efforts.

Poor customer service. I bought a washer/dryer and was chasing the lady to put the order in. She also didn't have any knowledge of the extended warranty that LG was offering neither did she care to help out. You better off doing your business somewhere else ..

Some of these stores are hard to navigate when you’re looking for a very particular thing, but Tony and Electric knows every little piece of that store. He’s an awesome guy. Thanks, Tony.

Home depot is slipping bad. Inventory on the shelves never matches what they claim online. Ordering online never works- I haven't had an order filled accurately or delivered on time in a year now. On top of that, they allow illegal immigrants to hang out in the parking lot and beg. Shop elswehere- I do...

I think it is terrible that we have to go the Newburgh store and see 3 or 4 employees tending the self check out and only one or NONE at the regular checkout registers. Myself and many other customers say they don't like self check out. When ever I am forced to use self checkout I always need help. So what IS WRONG WITH YOUR MANAGER.. This is a complete form of laziness and total disrespect for your patrons.

I am constantly go into Home Depot for major appliance as well as purchasing paint and garden supplies. When I am not sure where something is an employee is always ready to This store is always clean and well stocked. If you have the app you are able to use the isle finder for products. If they do not have what you are looking for, an associate offered to look up and location the item at another store and offer to send it to your home or the store of your convenience.

The store is conveniently located and has plenty of parking. My only real complaint is that they clutter the aisles with promotional items which makes traversing with a cart difficult at times.

Went to buy a power tool which took longer than expected. There was no worker insight to help make the purchase a fast and smooth one..When I did find a Home Depot employee I was told that power tools were closed on Sundays and that I had to go to Customer Service so "they can do what they do". So I did just that. After waiting about 15 minutes online Steph at customer service was in disbelieve of the interaction I had with that employee and his response before sending me to her, that she called up her manager and had me personally helped by one of her team member. Steph was amazing for turning my experience from a unpleasant one to an enjoyable one. Next time I will just go to Loews.

Used to use this HD a lot, but for the past couple of years, I'll look online to find a product in the local store, to make sure it's in stock. Get there, shelf is empty, and staff is usually not very helpful, if you can even find someone to help you look for it. Also- there are a bunch of illegal immigrants who barely speak english if at all, hanging around in the parking lot, begging for money and harassing the customers. I've heard stories of cars being broken into as well. If HD doesn't do something about keeping them out of their parking lots, we won't be shopping there anymore.

Guy with a dumb mustache ignored myself and another customer. Then he refused to talk to you he would just look at you so that you would tell him your order.

What I like about the Newburgh Home Depot is whenever I have a question about something, or where something is. There is always someone who can help you ,or advise you.

Open registers, not everyone wants to use or be forced to use self scan. Prices are way too high.

Convenient and kind!

I'm always in and out of the Newburgh store. Sometimes I don't go in there for months, no matter how long I stay away I know a reliable store is right around the corner.

I bought something yesterday and I had no idea where it was located and I was helped and shown where I needed to go which was excellent customer service.

I went to home depo today a gentleman got comfortable with me an a young lady Stephanie went above and beyond to make sure I was safe her and other staff made sure I got what I needed and escorted me to my car to make sure I was safe

I was looking for some materials and tony at electrical was very helpful.
